How do I get the custom poses to work with pose player?

I don't think this is technically 'tech' support but I need to know how to work the new poses. I have the pose player, but with all of the custom poses available, I have several packages I'd love to download but I have NO idea how they work once I download them.

its quite easy cece when you get them, downlod the packages as you would any other package file, when in game you will find the pose player in buy mode under the misc. decor section it looks like a clip board from the movies, place this in the room with your sim, you have to be in play mode not pause for it to work, click on the board and type in the pose name ie a_TTS-ANIM1 pres enter..........now sometimes you have to put the command in twice for it to start and sometimes the creators dont tell the exact command i have them all so if you get stuck with a certain pose let me know and i will help if i can.

i love those too also the elegant ones by traelia are nice too, i downloaded all the pose sets but havent tried them all properly yet next on the list are the ballet poses Love067

You do know that the pose player has been updated don't you? Says now you don't have to enter twice and I believe once you enter a code it stays in the game...

I know how to work the pose player I just not sure on how to work the actual custom sims made by other creators. So I guess I will have to make a list now of the 'new' custom poses and pick from those? Shoot!! More work!! Thankies for all your helpz and check out the updated version of pose player!! hiho

I just need to take a couple of hours to sit down and write down every pose. Ang what poses do you have, and Nessa I may have to try the sassy poses...I wasn't sure how they'd look in game but I will take your word for it!! dancing

it makes doing the comps so much easier, now i can have a wicked pose before editing and i dont have to do pose combining which i was total rubbish at lol, i will get the list to you tomorrow and i will start the piccy one too, with all the cc poses hiho

i have the gaga ones and some of the poses are ok not as good as the pammie ones though i must do that list for cece........... hiho

Nessa I didn't see 2 Pammie sets, I saw the first set and then the GaGa set, which is a NOT! pale

Pose Player is updated on MTS, you now can add all codes of your downloadable poses. Smile

I have 10 pages of poses both custom and the base game poses printed out, it's starting to become quite the book Razz

But it is handy to have it right here next to my computer to look at.

Plus, on some of my favorite posses, I've drawn a couple doodles so I know exactly what those poses look like. Smile

Yep it helps to have the piccies, and I also have a book with about 8 pages of poses listed that I keep saying I need to doodle stick figures or something beside them so I can tell them apart. I remember most of traelia's and tum tums....but the rest I have to look up.

You know Stevielee has a list here of the custom poses and how did I miss the very first set of poses?!!!!

I want to see some 'homeboy' poses...more masculine..more urban!!!

hey guys! has anyone been having problem with poses?? alot of mine just stopped working.......is it because of the new update? perhaps I should get the new one,is it an update or a new pose player and if so,i should get rid of the old pose player file??Ill try and keep checking.sorry if i missed the answer in this thread!

Hey,I found it at MTS with the Pose Player update,the download link was right below the download link for the Pose Player.
Also the update didnt solve my poses not working,Ill try getting new files,see if that works

did you try typeing in the poses twice?
sometimes you have to do that to get them to work. happy *NEW*

yea,I did ,all of them were working at one time,then suddenly some of them stopped,actually all the traelia ones

Wow! That's surprising because Traelia is one of my fav creators of the poses and I've never had one single problem with any of her poses! I'm going to dig around and see if anyone else may be experiencing similar problems...also, you might want to leave her a comment on her post at mts and see if she has any clues.

So all my poses work again!! yay!! all i did was get new ones,Im still not sure why this happened,I probably did something to mess things up,lol.Also I tried the "pose kit". its actually pretty handy,you just type in a bunch of poses into a pose list(done by clicking on the pose player)and then you just pick from there,rather then typing it in each time XD!
I found it at MTS,you can find it with the pose player update download,just below it.
