Hello. Just found this forum recently and decided to register myself. My name is Edwin and live in Veendam, which is a small town in the north of The Netherlands. Used to be a network administrator, repairing computers and such. Next to that i'm quite an active gamer. I play games like TES III: Morrowind, Sacred 2, Titan Quest, Neverwinter Nights 2, Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines, Overlord, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, Myst III, Dreamfall, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. shadow of chernobyl and the like. But also The Sims. Tried the first one, but didn't like it. My interest in The Sims started with The Sims 2 and since then i play it. Before it i already played some simulation with Simcity, which is also my first game. Started with Simcity on a 80486DX with DOS 5.1. I'm not a modder and probably wouldn't be one. Just a player. Once fixed a mod myself with enchanted editor for Morrowind and fiddled a bit with the construction set, but that's pretty much my modding attempts. I built also things in-game in The Sims sometimes, but you can't call that modding. Favourite music is trance and i listen to Airbase, Leon Bolier, Menno de Jong, Orjan Nilsen, Ferry Corsten, Armin van Buuren and the likes. Well, i think that's it for now.

Welcome Edwin!!! I am currently playing VTMB as a Ventrue... I have also played Skyrim and some of the other games you mentioned. I enjoy Skyrim but it is very hollow on the interaction side of things. If I hear one more guard talk about his knees I'll have to hack them off.
It's great to see another active member here! And I got your post on my Transexual Sims thread lol It's a very old post, from when I first started creating and first joined here. I felt it was funny that people would try to tell me what my Sims look like. I mean, my older Sims do look a bit masculine, but not to the point where you can't tell that they're women lol
Anyways, I'm rambling. Look forward to seeing you again <3

Geen Hollander he, maar een Groninger ;) En Nederlander uiteraard. Leuk om een landgenoot te zien.

I've started myself with a Toreador and also picked a history (thanks to the unofficial patch). Currently still strolling in Santa Monica and doing that quest with that asian vampire. I haven't played Skyrim yet. Still sticking to good old Morrowind. But from what i hear and read it's more like oblivion 2.0 with only the atmosphere of Morrowind. So far i haven't got the intention to play it. I look more forward to Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning, which is made by Ken Rolston and R.A. Salvatore. About that transexual sim thing; well, i saw that post and find it kinda strange. Some are clearly just nagging. Oh and don't worry; probably i hang out here for a while. Although i have too much accounts lately.

Skyrim is an amazing game... but compared to VTMB the characters are very one-faced and monotone lol

And compared to Morrowind? Morrowind is pretty much the best game of The Elder Scrolls franchise. Many options, many factions, great atmosphere, character development from scratch, roleplay, good mainquest, decent story, great gameplay and it has replay valuebility. And it has mushrooms too.

Skyrim is almost exactly the same... Except perhaps less engaging during dialogue. You'll see why lol

Hi Edwin and welcome to Cstyles!! It's so great to see new members and see them especially interacting and getting to know us! It makes it so much easier for later communication. It's great seeing that you and Eva share the same language. With so many different languages here it's nice to see when one comes together with another, other than English. I also learned how to say welcome to Cstyles due to Eva's greetings to you so it also has it's educational value as well. Lol! It does sound like you are quite the gamer! I don't play my console games like I used to, haven't in a long while and I've never played interactive games although my son and daughter both do. I've been a simmer since sim city and have continued to be one and probably will be one until they quit making them. As far as modding, you don't have to have any special talent to be a member here, just be you...although your computer skills do interest me!!!
Any who...rambling, which I tend to do!! Enjoy yourself and if you need any assistance with anything, trust me, just ask and we all will make sure you get the help you need!! Very friendly and warm bunch here!!

Well, i like to play games, but not all at the same time and also not always. There are days where i don't get to play any. Currently i'm switching a bit beween The Sims 3, Morrowind and Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines. And do also some Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas now and then, but i'm a bit stucked there. I'm also a simmer since Simcity. As mentioned i played the first one on MS-DOS. On a floppy then. 8 bit sound and vga graphics. And lots of noise, which my parents then didn't like. But after simcity i played more. Later i also got simcity 2000, 3000 world edition and 4. Nowadays it's actually more rpg i'm into, but also some other genre's. And simulation still too. I don't play on consoles. PC only here. Once did that for a while, on the SNES that is and the first playstation. Still have those somewhere around here, gathering dust. Interactive is also not something i do. No MMO's for me, although i once tried Rappelz for a while. I'm more into singleplayer. Well, did some multiplayer in the past. C&C Tiberian Sun with a crappy 56K. Age of Empires II through directIp. Anyway, thanks for the welcoming.
