I am trying to upload my new sims, but every time I test download her...this is what I am getting:

hum...i think it is most likely not uploaded correctly. You want to be sure to save it and not just open the file.... that maybe the problem as well....if that doesn't work then i would say its probably a bad file upload. Also why dont you go ahead and place her into a .rar file before uploading.

There is where to download Winrar...then you can right click on your file and click to add to filename.rar

I don't think it's a problem, when you download a .sim file to your computer, the "extension" .sim isn't linked (associated) with a program you have installed on your computer (as it wants to open the .sim file). But you don't need to open it, just save it in the sims folder.
So it's not really a problem ;)

It seems as you have clicked on Open file instead of Save as.
With open file it tries to open the file directly and if it can't do that you get such a message. Just upload the file and when downloading be sure to select save as. Also, if you want to download to test it, don't download it to the same place where the uploaded file is also located. Otherwise you get duplicates.
Make a new map somewhere, other partition or disk is recommend, and use that one for testing purposes.
