I MUST RANT TO BLOW OFF STEAM SO HERE GOES!!

Ok I REALLY hate this new "My Page" and "social features" set-up on the sims website and game! It's irratating and there are so many annoying glitches on the "My Page" now! So until I can get it sorted out I can't even post the second chapter of my story Insignis! Not only did they stick a ton of new social features on the "My Page" section, they seemed to have taken away our options to personalize our pages the way we used to. I'm not a fan of the newest expansion (showtime) and this is definitely why. If i wanted social features I'd create a MySpace page. So I won't be updating my game with all this new crap for it either....I don't want the social features and that's all patch 1.31 basically is, social feature updates for the expansion "Show-Time". If your not getting the expansion they're not even useful... Ok...that was my rant....feel free to comment below

I hope we'll have the ability to turn it off. I guess I could just turn off my internet whenever I play...

They claim you can turn the features off but then its like, Why would I put something in my game that I won't even use?

I agree, I know that there's supposedly the ability to disable these features, but it is annoying how we'll have to update our games for something that we ultimately want to avoid in our games. Bleck. I hate new patches. I know patches also include supposed fixes, but I wish they would just do more testing before they release new content. They can certainly afford it. I don't know of any game that's patched as often as The Sims. :O

Yup if you update to this patch it seems you'll have to update all of twallans mods too :/ Btw Ameenah Im absolutely LOVING your recent avatars! Those sims are beautiful!

I half-gagged when I saw the 1.31 update a few minutes ago. >:O I am not updating, for now, at least. I'm too lazy to update my mods right now. I just re-merged my packages the other day.

I like your drawing in your avatar, and I'm excited to see the sim you're modelling after her. Mary's doing an awesome job with that conversion so far. I looked through your deviant art, and I like the drawings you have posted.

Speaking of drawing, I can't remember the last time I drew anyyyythiiing. I used to sketch just about everyday, and now....nothing. Hahah. I recently threw away all of my old sketchbooks and now I am suddenly feeling nostalgic.

I updated and i updated my mods...nraas has updated lots of his mods. I disabled the auto login feature...other then that it seems to be working fine in my game.

That's good that NRAAS is updated. I'll check about awesome mod too. For some reason, I don't like using the slider multiplier from any other source. I'm unable to set different numbers for the body and face sliders with NRAAS. I like to have my facial sliders set to 5, but this does really terrifying things to the weight, athletic, breast, and eyelash sliders - so I prefer to keep that at 1 or 2. Even though there are divisions in the mod to set this number separately, I haven't got it to work. I keep just getting the multiplier universally set. Ah, well.

Ugh I could rant about EA all day (but I won't lol) I'll just say that I don't agree with the new changes... And I question why should I have to make an Origin account aswell to be able to log into my sims 3 account? >_> (I'm still not installing it >:| lol)

I had to make an origin account at some point because of patching. I hate origin, gah. X_X

Im not patching until its absolutely necessary lol. Having to make an origin account just to get onto their website is rediculous.

I don't even use origin at all. And a patch usually means to me "your game will be even more screwed up than before"
