So for anyone who gets pay hairs and such from the booty and store content from MATY then yeah it's time we kick in a little to help them....Also we need to get the word out so please repost this on any Sims forums you belong too. I think this is cheaper then having to donate to Peggy, NewSea, and Butterfly and paying the store for content....probably should add all that up and see how much you would spend there and see what the savings would be to just donate and not have to pay those folks who are doing it to serve themselves and not everyone else like the booty and MATY are...they are the selfless ones.

I would definitely donate, but I am only 16 and my mother would say no. But I really hope they do get the money they need!!

They'll get the money...they always do...then again, maybe if Pescado wasn't a grade a jackass, they'd get the money sooner and more willingly.

I don't know Pescado that well, so I can't say. I rarely ever comment on MATY.

I will post the banner on the home page tomorrow when I get home with a few words. Hope it helps. I'm trying to raise money here on Cstyles but we have to help one another right! I will see what else I can think of. Maybe post on Cstyles Facebook as well. Like Akasha stated, they always meet their mark but this is cutting it a little close so keep our fingers crossed that they are successful!

Well yes this is cutting it close and this month on top of it is a short month. So that doesn't help matters.

I don't know about all that...can't be too big an ass to provide pay items for free.

Have you ever read some of the threads over there! The people over there are horrid! And Pescado does absolutely nothing to stop it...in fact, he joins in sometimes.

I have been over there and i have been part of the blunt of their reactions when i use to create hairs for sims 2 so yes i know how they all are. But i still say that the site is a needed place for sims...actually both sites are a huge help to the community.

I love that you mentioned that Akasha. I have been at that website a couple of times and the way they treat people is HORRIBLE. And Pescado is a jackbut...

I'm not saying they aren't needed, I get stuff from the booty all the time. I'm just saying that they'd get help quicker and more willingly if they'd get their heads out of their asses and be nice to people.

I think it's all the noobs they have to deal with requesting things instead of just being happy that there is anything there that is available to download and not have to be paid for....

Being one of the contributors to the cave and the booty all i can say is it gets old people begging for things...If we had the item we would post it...that is that..

Thanks for the information I just donated. Yeah Pescado and his cronies can be a piece of work, but they are necessary to the community at large. Pescado does more than just maintain Awesome mod, he also helps alot of sims sites that go under because of hacking etc. He's very loyal to the Sims community, and his knowledge of the game would be felt if they went under. Pescado IS the reason why we have a Twallan...Don't forget that!

Personally, I have no qualms about donating to my favorite sites...but, I don't use paypal shame

and that puts a severe limitation on who I can support. I know that if it weren't for MATY , my custom content folders would be wanting, so when I say that I really feel awful about this, I mean it. If anyone has some suggestions for me, I'd love to hear about them.

Well they made their quota for this round but are still taking donations for the next round they have to pay......there are different ways to donate though....the booty and Maty are run by the same folks...you can read here how to donate otherwise:
