Chapter 3
Sam and I had just about the most wonderful date last night, and one of the things she said was,
"Freddie, I want our wedding to be the most memorable wedding imaginable. And I kept thinking, what kind of wedding should we have?" then she leaned down and planted a kiss right on my lips. The kiss was a moist one but the romantic moist. Anyway, the way Sam had said it made me shiver, but the good kind though.
"Sam, I was thinking about our wedding too! I though that Carly could be your bridesmaid and so could Melanie. What do you think about that?" I asked joyfully hoping that she would agree with the idea. But, not everything I said she agreed with though, made it through to the happening moment.
~At Carly's Apartment~
"Spencer, when am I getting that letter from the school I chose. Is it gonna be late like the last one?" she asked furiously. Spencer was too busy building one of the most spectacular sculptures ever built, but by the way Carly sounded she wasn't too happy that he had decided to ignore him. We were just coming in the door, when suddenly we heard Carly yelling at Spencer. We gently knocked on the apartment door, just waiting for her to open it up. Carly shouted,
"Come in!" by the way of her tone, she sounded very angry.
"Carly, we came by so I could ask you to be my bridesmaid and if Spencer..." she continued so that I could finish,
"...could be my best man?" I looked at Carly and so did Sam but neither one of them was spitting out words, so we took that as a no.
"Carly, Spencer I just wanted to know if you wanted to be part of the wedding! But obviously you don't want to be part of it!" I screamed and Sam and I ran out of the apartment, knocking down precious memories of Carly and Spencer. It had looked like this wedding was going to be a disaster, especially since Carly and Spencer, we thought dissed us.
~At Sam's House~
"Samantha Puckett, I am so very proud of you! You are getting married, but to Marissa Benson's son. She is such a witch and when something is not clean, she makes you clean it! She is not the right mother-in-law to have, Samantha." she brought out in a medium loud tone.
"Mother, I just don't know! I fell for the boy I tortured all my life, and he made me soft. The way he kept tolerence for me and let me pass with a groan when we included him in the show as the tech producer. I fell for him and I am deeply and inevitably mad in love with this man!" she said with tears flowing. Sam's mother looked at her daughter, finally, with love. She had finally showed the love she haden't given Sam at any point in her life. Sam sat on the sofa and started going through the channels when, her mother had stopped her.
"Sam, I have been thinking ever since yesterday, I have been a brute to you and I apologize for that. But there comes a time in your life when you have to get used to something like that in the real world. Not everything goes your way, but I know I have been grotesque in front of you. Wearing bra's with my shirt off or dating weird men. I am very sorry for that." she finished and Sam looked at her with more tears just flowing from her eyes.
~The last day of school~
The school bell rings, Sam and I burst through the doors and to our lockers. Carly's sat right between ours because at the time we had fought. But, we don't...not anymore anyways! Sam gave me a kiss on the cheek as I did the same, but when Carly saw it all became sad. Carly felt bad that they had to run out on them the day before but that had been the other day. Today was a new day and they had to keep things positive. So, Carly walked straight over to them and started to apologize right away. Sam and I looked at each other and we started to laugh,
"Carly," Sam started.
"...we didn't need you to apologize, we were the ones that need to apologize for breaking the stuff in your apartment." Freddie finished. Carly then started to laugh,
"Freddie, Sam...we didn't have the answer right away because, Spencer and I were speachless when we heard about that, so I am sorry!" Carly explained with exhaustion. Then, they went to first period. But not I!
