IF I could make a sim simulation game this is what I would have:

In CAS there would be a butt slider and leg sliders. Oh and tooth design sliders
There would be of course clothing, but as part of clothing there would be an underclothes section. There would be a pre-teen stage (that I will explain down below)

(next part would be a bit contversy):

There would be one very special button..this button allows you have to the D word sims. If you press this button, you get access in-game to ramps,elevators and special kind of stoves, showers and compailty buildings. But if you don't want the D word sims just don't click on the button. (this is the only way that you could get D word sims in my version of the game if I could make one), using this would get an additional sliders that allows for hearing loss and which ear. (of course there would be an option at the start of the game whether you want to play a town with both disabled and able bodied sims or no disabled sims at all.)*

traits/personality
Here are some traits idea me and someone from another website thought up off (and we would also have personality points)

Ambitious-would want to get As, and if they have dramtic trait too would want to get lead role (and if evil or mean sprited might try to sabtoge the real lead's role)


Artistic-creative projects for homework and doodle in their notebooks during lunch hour
Athletic -want to do all sports no matter what the sport is. (has a chance of broken arm/leg)

Bookworm students tutor other kids and maybe get paid to do homework

Clumsy- spill food/drinks on the floor, accident break objects, and with a Pets EP cause a mess of pets' water.

Daredevils- play with fire, do dangerous tricks on bikes,snowboards, skilling,etc (can have a chance of a broken leg/arm)

Dramatic students-put on plays (if there is more then one major competion)



Evil toddlers-can draw on walls (and maybe older adult sims can kidnap others-I have more thoughts about kidnapping idea later)

flirty sims are more concerned with finding a bf/gf than school work or anything else

Genius students tutor other kids and maybe get paid to do homework

Hopeless romantic-want to find their one true love

Would love for more ideas for traits.




Their would also be personailty traits like the first two sims games

ingame:
There would be jobs of course. Journalist would be sent to "the field" to cover stuff. Journalists could sometimes get chased by dogs or on a rare occasions a poltican.
Polictians could actually set up and have sim elections (all the sims would go to vote for their choice), and make real decisions. Law Enforcement go around and keep the crime low? Doctors (think its fine), Military is fine (the only idea I have might not go over well.) Culinary is fine, Scientist (maybe trying to find cures for the diseases--not anything serious in my version of the game). Musicians are fine. Authors could have book signings at the book store.

*supply teacher would not be part of the Education career but the being paid would amount to how many days you were called in, in a week.

There would be a bakery, a candy store, a mall, restaurants, of course grocery store (this would have shopping cart where you're sim can place their food and if they have a small child they can place the child in the front of the shopping cart, but there would also be little toy shopping carts too for toddler children) & book store (yes these would be non-rabitholes but for the restaurant there would be a bit of a rabbit hole, the "kitchen" is the rabbit hole. You could buy out and run them yourself you would be able to set prices, hire employees, there would be little chance cards about problems employees are having and you have to make the right descions).

Movie theatre: get to chose what kind of snack/pop your sim want to eat/drink (or decide just to skip the snack and pop and wait until after the movie to eat).

weddings:
You can either have hire a event planner, or plan your own wedding. You would chose who would be bridesmaids, ringer bearer, flowergirl, and hire a caterer (I have another idea, that you can be a careteer or a event planner..but I still working on that). Or if you sim has parents, the sim mom could cook your wedding cake and supper, and sew the wedding dress).

babies:
you can chose whether sim moms could breast feed them or just stick with the green glob of milk bottle. (note:sim mom who breast feed their babies are less likely to get diseases). Babies aren't swaddled up. The have legs, and you can dress them in cute little outfits. Sim moms/dad/grandparents/older siblings can sing to them or rock them in the rocking chair. Yes bath them too.

Toddlers you can chose to still have sim mom breast feed or if your kid is on the bottle move to a sippy cup. (they can still move to a sippy cup if you started off breasting feeding) Toddlers can steal the other's cup/bottle. If there are twin or triplets, they have more "connection" with each other. (through out life). Also get floaties.

Children
mostly the same (expect being able to help with gardening and using the microwave and toaster and can use the stove with parents' supervision and able to play instruments). There would be a playhouse and a play kitchen. costumes: dragon, teacher, bride, dancer). and toy cash registers that could even look from a Western movie or from modern time.

pre-teen
can have crushes, but get embarrassed by someone coming in and see them playing with "childish" things, can cook with the stove without supervision, but can only cook very simple things

teen
can get acne, sneak out, cook more fine things

Young Adult:
can go college (you can live at home or live in res, well living in res there would be cooking classes, and other how-to-live-on-your-own classes), and yes in this case YAs at college can become pregnant.

Health
Hospitably**
Science
drama

Adults can chose to take a class @ the college

Elders can also take a class @ the college

There would be the option to give up a baby for adoption.

school:
there would be 3 schools

elementary school and children would 1)learn skills there and 2)bring home assignments for specific classes (which you chose on the child aging up to child, from toddler). There would be events like 'bake sale' at the school. oh and there would be recesses for children.

middle school, tougher assignments than elementary, but not as tough as high school. and learn skills.

high school more difficult assignments and learn skills

EPs

University
dating, shopping, clubs: everything from drama to off-campus clubs for those who don't live on campus. There would be jobs around the campus. helping with the food at meal times, cash register, student libararan,etc. There can also be volunteer opportunities.




Pets
both regular pets but if you press the button to create disabled sims you get the option with Pets installed of Service pets (anything from Service Dog to Service Monkey) of course even if you didn't opt for Disabled Sims. You could train a service dog if you're sim was able-bodied.

Sounds like a very realistic style of game...a lot like sims but on a more realistic note or nature. I do like the baby ideas and the grocery store idea as well as the breastfeeding. (that would be totally cool) I deal with a real life disability so I would choose to NOT play one in game. (Epilepsy) But some might find the idea a great one!

That's why there are four options of playing. One with only abled-bodied sims.
two only sim who is disabled is the one you create (via the button) or the last option have disabled sims in town but you don't control them at all, along with able-body sims. That's what sims about is the option of being able to do what the players want too?

And if there was something like a Makin' Magic/SN kind of EP. Instead of disabled sims not being allowed to do magic or being a werewolf/fairy/etc they still could be those creatures (another option) and not be *cured* of the disabltiy (unless the player wants it to happen).

Since my sims game is all about choices and with NO RPG elements.

But still there would not be the oither taboo subject in my game. Only the home Ec mini game I mentioned in another thread.


You don't have any ideas for like an example of a card that could pop up with the OFB-like idea about employees Since I would like one. Its like the cards you got in Sims 2.

The idea is a mix and mash of stuff i seen request on the forum+stuff i see in real life.

Personally I'd love for EA to make two versions of the game. One version would be the current version available now and the other version would be a more mature version. Not say for sex per say...just a little less restrictive. Like maybe instead of having to have mods to have preggers teens, that option is already in gameplay. Maybe show some of the downfalls and hardships that can face a teen parent as well as make options to make the utmost best of your situation. Maybe have the adults, (and possibly teens) deal with real life issues like alcohol abuse, affairs, have actual divorce. MIght prove to be interesting...

um you can already have affiars in-game and divorce too. (but not the kind we know of). The only problem in-game I know of is EA considers Romantic Interests to be "a relationship" which means any other dating is consider cheating.

When I say 'affairs' I'm wanting to see the Sim have the choice of doing this on their own without prompting from me. Make divorce involve court and child custody issues and shared parenting. Might be asking too much...but then again...my 'game' would be on a more adult level and is only make believe...as a 'game' should be I suppose. ;)

even though I don't agree with teens pregancy . There could be three ways (maybe four) of playing with handling of that is if the teen decides to keep the child . 1)teen gets kicked out and is single, 2)teen gets kicked out and boyfriend takes her in and maybe marries her. 3)teen's family raises the teen's child but as the grandparents. 4)the teen's family raises the teen's child but the teen's parents pretend to be the actual parents.

Adoption idea (in the regular game)
open adoption-birth parents have contect with the adopted family
closed adoption (opposite of above). if the latter happens when the adopted kid reaches teen he/she gets the opition to wether or not chose to look for their birth-parents.

Any kid over the age of baby (toddler and child) have some kind of history

and maybe an orpahnge in the town(s)?

Neither of you Sleepy and Cece have an example for an employee chance card that an employer sim (aka you) would be given if they had any of the above building (candy store/restaurant/grocery store/book store, did I say Bakery/mall).

the one idea I do have two examples of the Employee chance cards:
Store (any store):
Other Employees have reported that one employee, Dodger, has been embezzling money or stealing (what ever the store sells) and threatening employees. But Dodger has always been nice to you and you can't imagine to fire him.

Choice 1)Fire them 2)Keep them but give him a warning? (if it continues company goes bankrupt) 3)lawsuit? 4) ignore

Restaurant (but can also work with the Mall)
A mom was in a restaurant in the dinning area with a baby and started to breastfeed the baby and another customer complained to their server of the breastfeeding being "tasteless" and the server asks the mom to leave or move to the ladies room.

Choice 1. Apologize to the mom and/or Fire Employees 2)Warn employees that behaviour is unacceptable. 3)?

With a Pets EP and if you choose to have a town with disabled people (or made a disabled one yourself in CAS) here's another idea

(any place service dogs allowed) the situation would be different it could either be a service dog trainer or a disabled sim.
A disabled people was in the Grocery store with their dog and one of you're employees told the sim they wouldn't allowed to have dogs in the building. And the sim kept saying that they needed the dog to do X for them and its was a service dog. But the employee kept insisting the person leave.

(base game) restaurants are three kinds:
1)fast food
2.)casual dinning (ie. Tim Horton's/subway)
3)Slow-Food restaurant (ie.any restaurant which has servers and a hostess)

and in any of the stores or the restaurants or the hotels (base game) can be bulldozed and rebuilt the way you want it to be built.

I don't know...I'm a bit confused on that aspect of your idea. You can give me further detail if you like, it might help me understand it better.

The first idea of a chance card for an owner sim I have comes from the Canadian Comic Strip called Better and For Worse. Its one of the rare occasions where the strip's charries actually 'grow up'. During the series' oringal run in the late mid-to-late 90s, The protagonist, Ellie, who was a house-wife for most of the series becomes employed at a bookstore which she eventually owns. Idea chance card 2 comes from what some other people think is tasteless (ie. breastfeeding) and nursing moms being asked in restaurants to either leave or cover up or asked to move into the restroom. -I want an option to really control a sim (more than just point and click)
-I want to have more in game discussion with multiple answers/ life decissions, that will gradually develop our character instead of predefined from CAS.
-I want a real baddies that try to rob or kill you or other sims in dangerous places
-So then I want to be able to defend myself in such situation either with diplomacy, with gun, or with martial art, or simply run to another sim for help.
-I want growing hair that need to be maintained or styled from time to time (the same with facial or even better body hair)
-I want supernatural stuff that actually scary and less common
-I want to be able to shop (or shoplifting) in stores and supermarket
-I want to visit a car dealer, or customing my car with new bumper or stuff
-I want to be able to have a tattoo with words I want/ I type, or a black and white faces of my family members (including my pets)
-I want to go to an auction house to buy or sell rare items
-I want to play sport in stadium (where I actually control my sim)
-I want to see my house being built or renovated by NPC or by myself

I don't really agree with the gun. But I would like to see sims go to a shooting range and practice shooting with a riffle.

-OMG the idea of growing hair...priceless!! It might be a challenge for some of our hair creator's...but I'd love to see a sim go to the Barbershop to get a cut and shave!!

I would have a store but all the objects would be FREE. And I would have two choices for relgious bits in the store: download reglious buildings (churches-tons to choose from, synagogues-again tons to choose from, Mosques, and Temples) or download a podium and a soapbox
