so i was on the sims 3 website, got i haven't been on there in forever lol,but anyway. i was on there and noticed this topic called 70s,80s,90s.
then i found out its a stuff back.
thoughts on this?
i would buy it depending on if its not all decor stuff. i like when my sims can interact with things. not just look at it and laugh a million times(do you ever get really annoyed by that lol) and if we had good new looking hair, that would be a plus to. i will try to find some official pictures

I don't understand why they keep going 'old school' with their sp's. I have to wait and see what it's all about, ya know....see what all it offers. Great post!!

I dunno...is it just me, or does the 90's seem to be a bit lacking compared to the other decades? I'm thinking they should have done the 60's instead.... It looks like just grunge stuff...what about the cute little outfits they wore in Clueless? Or the overalls and cropped tops.....pagers....pacifiers....pogs....I miss the 90's. lol

a new world ? Monte Cristo ? I do not know this ! But it sounds poetic
You all are such young little girls compared to me
I whas born in 64 so i have seen the 70ths 80ths 90ths
Loved the 80ths a lot !!!!!!
And i will buy it i know myselve i will not be aible not to buy
I hear that. I was born in 1969 and can remember all three decades. I hated the 70's with the bell bottoms, polyester, and the ugly plaid pants. The 80's were my decade, but I have to wonder...where are the jelly bracelets and shoes. I think the 90's is seriously lacking, though. I agree with Akasha. Where's the cute Clueless outfits? All in all, I'm still looking forward to this stuff pack, mainly because they FINALLY added the rock station.

Some crappy music came out of the 90's, but that can be said for all three decades. However, alot of good music came out in the 90's also. I listened to music from almost every genre, including grunge. Soundgarden and Stone Temple Pilots are still favorites of mine. I also listened to The Cranberries, No Doubt, Alanis Morissette(saw her in concert), REM, Oasis, among the many metal bands I listened to and still do. I never really paid much attention to fashion, but I guess I had what they call the grunge look. I worked 3rd shift stocking shelves at a grocery store and mainly wore flannel shirts, t-shirts, jeans, and sneakers. Just search 1990's on google or whatever your search engine is. There's alot of info.

Another 60's baby here and I can't really think of much regarding the 90's. I gave birth to my daughter in '92 so aside from that and raising an older son and being wife and mommy...I just can't recall anything outside of that. Really kind of sad...like it just passed right over me. The 80's I can remember and I did enjoy that decade. The music style was up and coming, clothing style was coming back but a little more stylish. I don't think I will try to get this ep pack.
I just learned about the new world. That's questionalbe also as to whether I will own it. I'm soooo in love with Sunlit Tide and can't see myself moving anytime soon. I've barely got to enjoy it!!! Well that goes for a lot of my worlds....truly sad... Maybe I will go in game tonight and at least try out swimming in the ocean!!

Not sure if I'm going to get the new world either. I like it, but after I add Seasons and maybe the next stuff pack, if I try to download anything else, my computer is going to hop off of the desk and run out the door. ;) Sad that I'm going to have to wait until after Christmas to get Seasons, but I'm sure it will be worth the wait. Dee didn't decide to bless us with her presence until 1998, so I had a little over half of the 90's to go from one concert to the next. I was never into the bar scene, so loud music was my weakness.
