After much thought, I decided to send Elline to university instead of using my old standby, Lainey, to test out the game. I just wanted to thank Cece again for her generosity. I'm really glad that I decided to give it a shot. Anywho, here comes the pic spam of Elline.

I never play artist sims, so I enrolled Elline in the Fine Arts course. She's ready to go to university.


She moved into one of the three coed dorms on campus to save money and, as usual, the EA simmies are somewhat freaky looking.


The lecture must have been boring, because most of the students fell asleep. However, Elline took her nap with her eyes open. ;)


The professor was hilarious though. I think she must have the insane trait, because she kept talking to and choking herself. lol


Accidently stumbled upon the police officer hitting the juice. Donut shop must have been closed.


Doing a nude portrait of one of the plant sims...creepy looking things. Somehow, it looks more like the Gerber baby.


He was pleased with it though.


Ladies love flowers, especially the ones that you can eat. Why have chamomile tea when you can just chow down on the blossom? ;)

OMGoodness Kat you have done more with Uni than I have!!! Love love love the pics...thanks for posting them!! I truly do need to post mine. And I love that face also they make when they study! Nynia (I changed the spelling of Ni'Niah) I think was seriously stumped because she made that face ALL THE TIME!!

She just started her second round of college. She's continuing with Fine Arts, but this time she has a roommate. I added Jacob from the dorm to her household and they are renting a house...the same one that's in Cece's pics. I also saved another of the sims from the dorm and I'm giving her a little makeover. She's going to be my science nerd. I'll get some pictures of her progress as well. Thank you for the compliments.

As I said on my last post, I added Jacob to the household and sent both of them back to university. I continued to tweak him even as I was playing so if his features seem to change a little, that's why.

Can't really tell if the kiss hit home, but was a nice way to start a date. Officially boyfriend/girlfriend.


Went on a date to a keg party at the frat house. Ok...not a dream date, but it wasn't boring. ;)


Of course, the occasional streaker had to run through the house. Every single one of them got stuck in that corner. Jacob wasn't too thrilled about seeing a naked man's heinie.


Meanwhile, Elline was having a blast doing keg stands. She got a nice little buzz going.

I didn't really have to do much with her at all. Just thinned the face a little, tweaked her nose and added freckles. I did a little more to Anoki, though.

katink , you makeovers are wonderful , don t forget to hit that save sim file button. so it dont disappear on you . can hit the sim3pack too. but the savesim file is good.

now i want to do makeover too. so i forgotten about your naomi and so have have ready to go in sunlit world soon. ooh

I think you'd be surprised at how many sims I have in my files...lol. There's at least 75 on my desktop alone, some of which have never seen the light of day.

Just looked in my Sim Layaway file and there is 75 files in there and I found a sim that I thought was long gone...Nicole Striker.

i only ever did maybe 2 or 3 makeover of sims in game . ugh. not good .and orginal sims i have made i only ever did 3 , they were not to anyone taste but not really bad either,i think maybe mine were to hard looking heehee.

and as for making over guy sim oh it hard to do i think, i tried to keep them looking almost the same as before. dont seem to work. some guy sim in luckly palm or darren dreamer,ugh . too bad we can use simpe to replace in game sims with other sims.that one fault that sims3 has.but it does make one do makeover and make new one.

and it very vexing not to have like truely dark sims in our game. really sims2 could.

navetsea - it seem that real skintone of a person in real life is what work best for sims skin on a dark sim.is that even can be done?

I absolutely love Holly. She is one of the rare EA sims that actually look pretty good to begin with. Most of the sims at university are pretty hideous, but there are a few that aren't too awful.

This is not a makeover. She's a sim that I'm working on to play in game and with pdx's help, I've named her Isabella. She still needs work, but I thought I would share her pictures.

Ugh! Back in class and didn't have time to change my clothes after the short nap that I had. Maybe I should just snooze through the class like my deskmate.



Jacob seems to be having more fun than I am. HE gets to play with a skeleton.


After class, I decided to go to the comic book store to see if they had my order in...of course they didn't, so I pulled out my soccer ball and practiced some kicks....yes, in the store.


Jacob had been complaining that he needed a good workout, so he headed off to the gym. I'll never understand why he's so gung ho about running and never getting anywhere, but who am I to complain? His six pack really is a huge turn on. ;)


This is home. So thankful that I don't have to live in the dorm again this year. Those kids were pigs! I don't think any of them knew what a dishwasher was. We had a ton of flies in the dining room, swarming around the unwashed plates.


Here's a few pictures from around the campus. I'm going to miss this place once I graduate, but I will probably return before I decide to settle down. Not sure if I'll be settling down with Jacob though. He has become pretty annoying lately. After we woohooed, he pulled out his smart phone and actually took a picture, saying that he was capturing the moment...seriously? He also took pictures of the washing machine, toilet, and different students on campus. Do I really want to spend the rest of my life with that?

The smart phone comes with the University Life ep and it replaces the previous phone they had. I guess you can change it's ringtone and skin, but haven't tried that yet. Having a smartphone doesn't make them any smarter, though. The part about Jacob taking pictures of everything was true. He actually took a picture of the washer and the dryer and I kept yelling at him, "Stop capturing the moment!"
On a side note, I love my smart phone.

Smart phones definitely aren't cheap, but there's alot of things that you can do with them. My 10 year old was playing Sims Freeplay on my phone. Not as good as the real game, but much better than the thing they have on facebook. If I'm in game and I need to check something out online, instead of getting out of my game or even reducing the screen, I look it up on my phone. Much easier.

Basically, yes. I'm playing around in cas right now, but I'll post some more pictures later.

I love this campus, but I wished we had more options, like in Sims 2. You could choose your campus: the desert, the french one, the american one(?).
Kinda like World Adventure worlds are, but I know some one will do something about that.


by the way, Holly does look like Stevie (stevie88). I've seen a really photo of here. I think she still has it as her av photo. But yeah, Holly does look like her.
