Sounds good to me! I'm not so sure about the hair growth only because that means that the men will have to shave, but I'm sure a mod will create something to hinder it. Great post Kash!!  

Very interesting news! I'm really curious, but hell I hope they will put the CASt in the game!

Growing hair and moving clothes, sounds good to me. That should give the modders a challenge.

I so missed the moving hair from the Sims 2. I'm excited about this update. No more at random meteors! I'm definitely thinking about buying this. I do want to see more actual game play though.

Hopefully they release a free beta version of the Sims 4 (like they did with Pets) so people can test it. That would be nice. It would be very limited, but it will still be good.

Lol everyone is already shooting down the hair things because they think modders won't be able to make pretty hairs anymore. But this still sounds awesome to me!

I hope they release a demo of the CAS like they did with TS3 Pets! That would be seriously awesome...or maybe a bodyshop type program....this would make my life...

You know it's funny, people seem to forget what the first bits of CC for TS3 looked like...painted on clothes, poorly converted hairs, blocky/choppy meshes... Then, after a year or two, people started to get the hang of it, and programs were released by awesome people that allowed creators to broaden their horizons and more easily hone their skills. And if you remember in TS2, the hair WAS animated, if only slightly, and it took creators a couple of years to figure out how to program their hair, but when they did, it was totally worth the wait. So, just realise that we might have to deal with un-animated CC hair for a while before someone figures out how to do it...same with clothes. People really need to stop underestimating the creating community...

Oh, I think the modders will be able to do it, certainly -- they are a persistent bunch (thank goodness!).

hopefully it would be just several texturemaps with altered alphas to show different states of the hair.
