| THE RESULTS ARE UP!!!OK guys, I received the scores of Q~Girl last night and the scores of Miss L this morning. I had to finalize my judging too and made sure all the figures added up ! ;) Just a quick reminder about the judging part and how the whole system works. You have been critiqued in 3 areas: Creativity, Style and Growth & Quality. Each area is worth 10 points, giving you a score out of 30 by each judge. All of these scores combined, will give you a final score out of 90. The judges will also provide you with some feedback and commentary on how they scored you in these above areas. So lets begin in order of submission: CaradellaQ-Girl:Creativity: 6/10 Style and Growth: 7/10 Quality: 8/10 Total: 21/30 Feedback: Lovely sim and great use of costume and colours to represent the theme. Clear pictures and a great entry, well done! miss_lochness:Creativity: 7/10 Style and Growth: 7/10 Quality: 7/10 Total: 21/30 Feedback: The clarity in your pictures is much better this time round. Your sim definitely has the "usual" characteristics of a Dutch girl but she bares a resemblance to your initial sim. You've covered the wooden shoes aspect of the challenge, it would have been nice to see some flowers as well though. Overall, a good entry. EvaTer:Creativity: 7/10 Style and Growth: 7/10 Quality: 7/10 Total: 21/30 Feedback: I really like this entry, as it reminded me of some commercial with Dutch folk costume. I missed the flower part a bit though. Total score: 63/90angie247:Q-Girl:Creativity: 9/10 Style and Growth: 8/10 Quality: 10/10 Total: 27/30 Feedback: Lovely background shots with very clear pictures of the sim! miss_lochness:Creativity: 9/10 Style and Growth: 9/10 Quality: 9/10 Total: 27/30 Feedback: Angie I just LOVE your sim and your pictures. Marvelous job!! You've really met this challenge head on EvaTer:Creativity: 8/10 Style and Growth: 7/10 Quality: 7/10 Total: 22/30 Feedback: Lovely simmeh, great choice of hair for the assignment, I would have liked a bit more detail on the clothing, also would I would have liked to have seen some flowers. Total score: 76/90jaddie98Q-Girl:Creativity: 6/10 Style and Growth: 7/10 Quality: 6/10 Total: 19/30 Feedback: A lovely entry with a very pretty sim just a shame with the lighting being funny otherwise an awesome entry! miss_lochness:Creativity: 8/10 Style and Growth: 7/10 Quality: 7/10 Total: 22/30 Feedback: Lovely sim Jaddie. I loved your creativity on this challenge EvaTer:Creativity: 8/10 Style and Growth: 7/10 Quality: 7/10 Total: 22/30 Feedback: Sweet looking simmie She somehow reminded me of "roodkapje" (Little Red Riding Hood), maybe because of the basket I think you did great. Total score: 63/90broomhildaQ-Girl:Creativity: 6/10 Style and Growth: 8/10 Quality: 6/10 Total: 20/30 Feedback: This sim shows your improvement and the theme is shown well with the costume and background. miss_lochness:Creativity: 6/10 Style and Growth: 6/10 Quality: 7/10 Total: 19/30 Feedback: Your pictures have improved remarkably since the last challenge. Your sim is lovely and has met the characteristics requirement of this challenge. I would have liked more flowers. I think you could have been a bit more creative on this one Broomie EvaTer:Creativity: 8/10 Style and Growth: 8/10 Quality: 7/10 Total: 23/30 Feedback: Awesome job Broomie !! Love the sim, the clothes, the hair of choice, even the curtains in the pic reminded me of my heritage ! Total score: 62/90BrianD72Q-Girl:Creativity: 7/10 Style and Growth: 7/10 Quality: 8/10 Total: 20/30 Feedback: Nice clear pictures and background setting for a lovely sim. miss_lochness:Creativity: 7/10 Style and Growth: 8/10 Quality: 7/10 Total: 22/30 Feedback: Lovely sim, lovely background, lovely entry Brian I loved your poses in the first challenge, keep that up okay EvaTer:Creativity: 6/10 Style and Growth: 7/10 Quality: 7/10 Total: 20/30 Feedback: Very pretty on the sim part, lovely Dutch looks ! Definitely would have liked some more attention on the clothing part though. Total score: 64/90jojo777Q-Girl:Creativity: 7/10 Style and Growth: 6/10 Quality: 9/10 Total: 22/30 Feedback: Clear pictures and love the background setting which is different and quite creative how it matches her clothing. miss_lochness:Creativity: 10/10 Style and Growth: 10/10 Quality: 10/10 Total: 30/30 Feedback: LOVE! Your sim is absolutely adorable and your pictures and creativity is just marvelous EvaTer:Creativity: 6.5/10 Style and Growth: 6/10 Quality: 6.5/10 Total: 19/30 Feedback: I really can see you put a lot of work into this, but somehow it didn't remind me of Dutch folk costume. Maybe the colors white and dark purple, or dark pink would have been better. Sorry Jojo, I feel awful myself, telling you this.... Total score: 71/90JKAmaryllisQ-Girl:Creativity: 10/10 Style and Growth: 9/10 Quality: 10/10 Total: 29/30 Feedback: Lovely sim and very creatively shown. Clear pictures and a great way to show the theme...awesome entry! miss_lochness:Creativity: 10/10 Style and Growth: 9/10 Quality: 10/10 Total: 29/30 Feedback: Great entry JK!!!! Loving everything about it! EvaTer:Creativity: 7.5/10 Style and Growth: 8/10 Quality: 8/10 Total: 23.5/30 Feedback: I love the 'plain' Dutch looks you gave the simmie ! Also very much like your attention to detail, maybe a tad more on the costume and it would have been perfect ! Total score: 81.5/90smac1975Q-Girl:Creativity: 8/10 Style and Growth: 8/10 Quality: 8/10 Total: 24/30 Feedback: Very creative way of showing the theme with great clear pictures and love the story that went with it...great entry! miss_lochness:Creativity: 5/10 Style and Growth: 7/10 Quality: 10/10 Total: 22/30 Feedback: Sergio, you keep twisting our challenges!!! The idea of this week was to create a sim in dutch folk costume. Where's the flowers and wooden shoes?! Naughty Sergio. Otherwise I do like this entry, so I won't be too harsh on you. Especially since I like her name Look, I do not mind if you decide to create a theme for your challenge, but please incorporate our chosen theme into this as well. Yes we said Dutch sim, but we also requested dutch folk costume. This is my last little talk to you, next time it's a boot up the bum (warning). EvaTer:Creativity: 8.5/10 Style and Growth: 6/10 Quality: 7/10 Total: 21.5/30 Feedback: I Love what you have done with the pics and the idea behind this in relation to Dutch history, however she doesn't appear to be dressed up Dutch style... Total score: 67.5/90ninjahawkzQ-Girl:Creativity: 8/10 Style and Growth: 10/10 Quality: 10/10 Total: 28/30 Feedback: Lovely clear pictures and a very pretty sim, great entry! miss_lochness:Creativity: 4/10 Style and Growth: 7/10 Quality: 8/10 Total: 19/30 Feedback: Ninja, I hate myself for the score I have given you but let me explain why. You have covered the flowers and wooden shoes part of this challenge, but she is not in Dutch folk costume. I can see you have tried to be creative here, but we really need her to be in something that resembles a Dutch folk costume. Otherwise, your pictures and choice of poses are lovely as always. EvaTer:Creativity: 6/10 Style and Growth: 6/10 Quality: 6/10 Total: 18/30 Feedback: Hmmm.. although the looks of the sim are lovely, the shape of the eyes isn't a Dutch feature, also the clothing itself with colors and patterns, don't appear very Dutch to me either, I'm sorry Ninja... Total score: 65/90That's the scores guys and the winner of the 2nd assignment is... JKAmaryllis !!!!!Congratulations JK!!!! Also big congrats to our 2nd and 3rd places: angie247 and jojo777 !!!Remember: NO ELIMINATIONS THIS ROUND!Keep up the great work guys and good luck on the 3rd assignment !!! ;) Due to circumstances, the 3rd assignment will be posted Friday March 18th. Miss Lochness, Q-Girl and EvaTer.

Actually I wasn't trying to twist the challenge or whatsoever. I don't have anything nor did I find anything that could be resembled as a dutch costume from my 17th century intended dutch sim. That's why I went with another aproach. Maybe if I used some tulips on her skirt your opinion might be different? Who knows... You punished me harshly on my creativity score and I must disagree with you. Perhaps you could add another judging category, one that evaluates the current challenge goal. Anyways the scores are up and I'm not pleased. I'll do better next time. Ditto. |

| I can understand what you're saying Sergio, but the assignment was about Dutch folk costume. It's only fair in my opinion, to judge you on this. I'm glad though, you take it this way, by saying: "I'll do better next time". Btw you had the highest score I gave this round, on creativity ;) Anyways I think you all did great on the assignment ! And congrats to JK for winning the 2nd assignment !

I'm glad though, you take it this way, by saying: "I'll do better next time". I totally agree and I accept the judgment of course. You are 3 judges, which means 3 different opinions. How can I get a 5 from A and a 8,5 from B? How can someone have a 8 from C and a 4 from A? This is my point on suggesting a new category And yes, I'll do my best next assignment and not just because I have the threat of an aussie boot on me arse hehehe - EvaTer wrote:

| Yeah, that's why we have three judges, to make the overall result as fair as possible for everyone. We do our judging independently from one another and don't "consult" each other about the scores. This way the results are as fair as possible. I do agree with you some (separate) scores look "a bit out off line", I'll discuss this with Miss L & Q, as creativity is just such a "wide concept". |

| All the pics were absoutely fab!! Congrats to all on their submissions and congrats to JK for getting first place!! I truly adore when people take 'constructive critique' and use it to better the situation. I had to 'learn' how to do this without being hurt, it sometimes takes age to make us wiser!! And more resilient! Gearing up the popper for the next assignment! I have major respect and give tons of kudo's to you all!! |

Ditto. Sergio, I was trying to be honest with my scores as I always do with judging everybody's submissions. You have every right to disagree with me and I am very sorry that you feel I was harsh on you and perhaps I was, but I was only judging as per what the challenge requested. That is how I judge. I look at what is asked of you creatively and I score on how well you portrayed this and how creative you were with what you had to work with re: the challenge's requirements. I did mention that no judge would justify or answer questions about scoring, but since you have displayed that it is not just occuring for you, then I have chosen to explain how it is judged. 3 judges, as you said, are going to have 3 completely different opinions on what you produce. Creativity has far too many grey areas. Eva has contacted me about the creativity area and I have redefined and narrowed it down to TWO main aspects we will be marking on and if it is agreed on then, we will all make sure that we do not verge out of these two areas when we judge. Eva and Q just need to review what I have suggested and give the go ahead and I will let you all know on Friday what we have decided on. If I have upset anybody else with my judging then I am truly sorry. I do not judge with the intention of upsetting people or picking on anyone. I try to be fair and honest with my scores. Congratulations to JK for winning assignment two.If you have anymore problems with ANY aspect of this competition, then please do not hesitate to contact Eva or myself. If it is regarding this weeks scores or is extremely urgent regarding your position in the comp, then please contact Eva. If it is something that needs to be directed at myself, then message away and I will answer when I can. |

I should tell you that you are the cutest aussie monster I know and that I luvs you. And I want to add that I was not pleased but also I was not upset. I just wanted to raise some questions to clarify how scores were attributed. We all know that the judgings on the contests are not to upset or to pick on anyone, I think I can say that for all the people that participate and lurk around this beautiful contest. Keep up the good work! |

| Naws, I know I am a hard judge, but I don't want people to get upset over my comments. I just needed to clarify that. We, as in Q, Eva and myself are all here to help in anyway we can. I am not a pro and I do not claim to be one, I just offer friendly advice. At least I hope so |

| I like to comment on this one Thanks for your support, guys !! Really appreciate your lovely comments ! We (Q, Miss L & me) are really here to help and make everyone a 'better' sim maker, that's what this competition is all about. Like Miss L said, we're not claiming to be pro's ourselves, or something like that, cause I'm learning from this competition myself ! ;) It's just to see, share, watch, learn & make simmehs, by means of assignments and also have fun and meet other simmers in the process |

| I'd like to think that ladies like the judges who have had simmies showcased in sim magazines and uploaded and showcased on sims3blogs would be experts.....pros suggests you get paid for it which clearly you don't hehe cause that would be illegal! I'm totally with you on the ''creativity being a point of view'' which is why I've always seen the ''On Topic/On Assignment'' type scoring criteria being an excellent way of giving someone who was truly creative with an assignment full marks, but still marking them low if they chose to disregard part of the overall assignment. Congrats JK, Angie and Jojo! |

I love your sims ninja, but they all seem to come out looking somewhat the same, in particular you use the same shaped eyes all the time...I would love to see something totally different from you in one of these assignments would be awesume. |
