Yes that is right dear contestants, this week you are going to tackle Harajuku. What is Harajuku you ask, well let Wikipedia explain it for you:

Harajuku (原宿 "meadow lodging") is the common name for the area around Harajuku Station on the Yamanote Line in the Shibuya ward of Tokyo, Japan. Every Sunday, young people dressed in a variety of styles including gothic lolita, visual kei, and decora, as well as cosplayers spend the day in Harajuku socializing. The fashion styles of these youths rarely conform to one particular style and are usually a mesh of many.

Yes mesh of MANY.

Infact, here is a list of the styles common amongst these kids:

Harajuku Girls: This fashion infuses multiple looks and styles to create a unique form of dress. The cyber-punk look takes its influence from gothic fashion and incorporates neon and metallic colors.

Punk style in Harajuku is more of a fashion than a statement. Its fashion mainly consists of dark colors, plaid, chains, and zippers. Punk style is also one of the more gender-neutral fashions in Harajuku.

Ganguro is a style that symbolizes the average American teenager. The term translates to ‘black-faced’. The basic look is what Westerners would call a ‘California girl’, with bleached hair, dark skin, fake eyelashes and nails.

Now ain't that some variety for you eh!

Here is what we want you guys to do:

- Create a NEW sim with Japanese/Asian features.
- Your sim MUST be dressed in one of the above themes. Their style has to live and breathe Harajuku!
- 3 shots are required as usual: CAS shot, in game head shot and in game body shot.

To show you what you can do with this theme, cause it is VERY broad. Eva has created her own Harajuku simmeh:

i'm really looking forward to this one. i lived in Thailand for almost 1 year back in 2007. they have quite alot of festivals that are like this. and there culture is very much similar to. the festivals in Thailand are out of this world. there water festivals are so much fun. Smile

Brian, I am totally with you on your love of Thailand. My Mum as I mentioned to Sergio is Lao/Laotian (People from Laos, call themselves Lao even though that is the name of the language we speak as well), which is literally right next door. Takes 5 mins to drive over the Thai-Lao Friendship bridge Big smile

I love their water festivals!!! Have you been there for New Year! Hahaha I love getting drenched. Perfect excuse to play with water Big smile

hi Miss L. the Thai-Lao Friendship bridge is where i had to go to renew my visa every 6 months. as i was staying in the north of Thailand. in a place called Udon THani. there is a small market that looks over the Mekong River and i could see Laos from the over side. i use to stay at Mi Chai over night. witch is about 10 or 20 minits drive from the Thai-Lao Friendship bridge.

yes i have been in Thailand at newyear. but when i was there for newyear i was in the south of Thailand on a island called cho chang. my mums brother marrid a Thai woman about 6 years ago and she is lovely. but sadly there are some Thai women that all they what is your money. sadley i found that out myself the hard way. but i have Angie new thats all that counts. My mum told me that a hundred years ago, perhaps more, the Mekong river used to run straight through Laos, but then due to wars and such, they decided to seperate Laos and Thailand by the Mekong. yes i did know all about the history of Lao and Thai speak both Lao and Thai. and i also know parts of lao and Thialand still are very dangerous as a lot of people from Vietnam & Cambodia are still stealing from the villages and alot of Lao and Thai people have been killed by them to.

Yeah, its a bit of mess over there. Kind of depressing really. They are both such beautiful countries and the areas that are most beautiful, like far up north and down south are considered dangerous Sad...

I'm so in love with the East Sad...

I did get the chance to visit Cambodia and Vietnam. I started in Siem Reap and went south to Phnom Penh and then west to Sihanoukville. Back to Phnom Penh I went by boat down the Mekong River to Chao Doc, Vietnam and went by bus to Saigon. Then I flew to Danang and went to Hoi An. Then up again by train to Hue... flew again to Hanoi and then to Bangkok... I did many miles in 3 weeks but the memories I keep are unforgettable Smile

I can't remember feeling anykind of danger to be honest. I felt quite safe wherever I went, but yes I went only to known places. Some months later I went back but this time I went to Singapore, and up to Malaysia.

Eventually I will go to Thailand and Laos if I don't get lost in China next month =)

hi Sergio. any people i know that are not from Thailand or Lao have also said all the places i spoke about and the ones you to spoke about. they also said they had not seen or felt any kind of danger. it's mainly the the people them selfs see and feel it. i was once in the far north of Thailand called Prakhon Chai . i was once told by my exwifes farther to go in to the house where his brother lived and not to come out untill i was told it was ok. there was some truble in the village. with some teenage boys from Cambodia stealing stuff from the local farm.

It took me forever to find that pose! I kept seeing it in other peoples shots on the forums and I thought it was a WA only pose something to do with photography or the Japanese culture............I eventually did find it in the good ol Debugenabler menu.

It's one of my favorite poses now hehe

For ages she just stood there looking at me and then she just started posing after I screamed at the screen, lol. I cant wait to see everyone elses entries for this assignment as there is so much talent here on CStyles.
