well it is with help from the person who is helping me in the comp but its not even started yet.
but shes trying to give me tips to start off because its taking forever for the frist assignment

Why don't you use the pen tool or the polygonal lasso tool to paint , rather than by hand? xD

And also , use the gaussian blur for the makeup

The lighting on the hair and the vibrance/saturation in the colors on her face look wonderful!

keep practicing.. I find the easiest ways to edit clothing like that is to either work with curves/change the tint of the clothing.. or if you must draw it on.. the lasso tool does work wonders.. I prefer to clone stamp as much as possible.. although I do have a drawing tablet... I am not all that good with drawing..

gaussian blur works wonders for lighting and makeup (as mentioned above)
