I was doing a few days ago my first face skin too , it's very difficult , I've made half of the nose and the color doesn't match with the overall face , shit -.-'

Actually, I think it's a really well done job at a first attempt. To be honest, that black thing doesn't bug me to much. Lol! But I wouldn't want that my default skin! ♥

But really good attempt, Shyne. I'm serious! I like the shading in certain areas and I agree to the skin being a bit brighter and decreases the black under the eyes! ♥ Overall, great attempt!

I get pissed at TSRW and CTU just making makeup, cuz even though it is straight on the texture, it still doesn't line up on their faces- id probably throw my computer out the window if I tried to make skins badputer

Here's my latest try... gonna see what it looks like in-game. I gave it pores and such and I wanna see whether those show up, otherwise it's back to the drawing board. With make-up this skin really looks a lot better :D But I wanna make a skin that looks good with and without make-up.

Ok... so here is how the latest version looks in-game. Not too shabby huh? On the left is without make-up, right is with make-up. I just need to desaturate the colour around the eyes - they're orange lol And around the cheeks towards the outer parts - they're a bit orange too.

Ok so I added some detail under the eyes (thank god it looks alright lol) and a bit more darkness under the lips.
On the left is with some make-up (but not around the eyes) and on the right is the same Sim, but using the HQ mod :D

Looks great. I tried using the HQ mod...but it doesn't seem to really be working and the instructions on how to install it aren't' very good, or I am just stupid lol, I run the thingy like it says enable it but notice absolutely no difference

Yeah HQ mod is great for lipsticks... they always look 100x better. But apart from that... I don't need to use it lol Not much difference really. Just the pores are more defined.

I need to reduce the nose shine on men... It really doesn't suit them. Apart from that... nothing a good bit of make-up couldn't fix :D <3

WOW! It actually looks really great. Skins are hard, because that's the map that goes over the Sim. It has to be placed perfectly! And yours looks great. ☺
