Hello I am getting into making sims and was curious about slider mods, if anyone can recommend a few or pass on some tips . I honestly don't know where to start and slightly afraid to try without some advice. Thanks in advance for any help.

Here are a couple of sliders I use, besides the normal EA CAS sliders:

- Chin Cleft Slider by TumTum Simiolino (Link)
- GEOM Sliders (Upper lip) by aWT (Link)
- Lip Slider by Hermi (Link)

For all the sliders to work in game you need a Mod / hack, otherwise you'll be limited to the number of sliders to work as per EA.
The Mod / hack I use for this is aWT's slider hack (the x2 version), you can find the Mod here. There's also information there how to install the mod.

It's what I use

I think awesome mod also has the hack for sliders, but it's kind of "overkill", as there's much more then 'only" the (hacked) sliders in awesome mod. I don't know about other mods or hacks which can do the same.
That's why I prefer aWT's slider hack, as it allows you to use all sliders in game, nothing more, nothing less

I have to agree with Eva on the aWT slider hack, it just is for the purpose only of activating more sliders as where the other is loaded with other things you may never ever need.

I got all of them making my sim now ..excited!!

I should really get around to doing this myself, have been meaning to try some sliders

But the Awt's slider hack increases the range of the sliders , and I don't want that

So if Mastercontroller already increases the maximum and minimum range of the sliders, does installing aWT's slider hack conflict with that? Or does the slider hack just allow more sliders to be used and that's it?

I tried to install sliders once before but could never find a version of the hack that actually worked, no matter what I installed it said it didn't work with my current patch

awt says on the comments (because a lot of people asked) that it does not conflict with the Master Controller. I have it, no problems for me. Get the version that is for Master controller. The only conflict you should have with MC is Story Progression, which Twallan says it's normal.

So it conflicts with Story Progression? Sounds strange that it would since SP has nothing to do with CAS sliders. In what way does it conflict? I'm not giving up SP for extra sliders...not worth that.

Normally I have no problems with mods and such but I just don't get this.

No matter what version I use of the slider hack mod I get a notification that it doesn't match my game version (8.0.152.011001), or I'll get no notification but if I try to go into CAS my game will crash.

I remember this was the issue I had when I tried installing some sliders last time and just gave up on it.
