who has good pattern material for clothes. im thinking of leather , knit weave, fabric color , expensive knitwear material , expensive cold weather material. maybe even what can be used on expensive formal wear. good print sizes seem to be important.i have been looking around a bit and thought maybe i can get some more input . i do like bright colors too. just an idea.orange

I usually use Google Images and look for things like: Wool Texture, Denim Texture, etc.

You can also try 3D sites and search in the free sections for things like Textures lol

i look here there everywhere, but it so hard to pick . i have enough patterns in my game now i think , but not sure what is missing, i downloaded lot of things for walls it seems and some things that look good on furniture. it all seem bright and graphic though. one need manly texture too! and i dont mean oatmeal color , that so neutral and I m over that due to the incessant use of that color so one can use other accent of color. mmm nate berkus so like that and frankly his color style leave me oh hum. although the tight , very snug , very mm tight clothes he wear look nice indeed. his color in furniture mm , but his layout and clutter style is groovy indeed. yes people this orange is not drinking orange juice now , it all coffee, but i digress.i loved the apartment sims2 manly furniture that was nice. but as for clothes mmmmm. it all fun .im all done with sorting my sims3 folders now so i can go back in and play with pattern.

I know on ms3b (My sims 3 blog) he has had several new patterns listed the past several day's. I do know that he has posted some awesome Christmas/winter themed patterns. I can't help much else because I don't download patterns, I've had nothing but bad luck in the past when I did download patterns, they'd always bork my CAS. :'( Good luck in your search!!

, it best if one get the sims3pack for patterns. u can extract them into patterns and check for error with files before using installing, i usally check the files too see if they are ok. if it all ok, i will use the launcher to install the pattern . i dont use patterns in packages format, that what messed things up i think. some creators make pattern into pacages not sims3pack they seem ok . what i avoid is changing the sims3package pattern file into package file. no converting the files into other file format
i took out all my pattern pacakages and launch the pattern instead , the game worked better for me.
some pattern get installed with sims3packages sim file too . so u get more in the game whether u realizes it or not. oh well , orange

I may try again one day to install patterns because I'm getting a bit bored with the patterns I have. Just changing the color is just not creative enough for me. Eva has some awesome patterns in her game that she incorporates while making her sims and they make such a huge difference!

it must get dull for the more creative types who uses pattern a lot . must study some eva stuff then ah. will try that. orange
