So, I am thinking about getting some more RAM added to my computer so my game will run faster.
After looking up on the internet people are saying that it isnt RAM you need to add, but a new graphics card.

What I would like to know is, what kind of graphics card and how much RAM you guys have. Also, how fast is your game?

And which of the two do you think I should go with, RAM or a new graphics card.

BTW: As of now, I have 4 GB of RAM and NVIDIA GeForce 7050 / NVIDIA nForce 620i graphics card--lots of CC and Every EP & SP except Master Suite.

As far as I know a new graphic card has zero to do with your game speed. You do need more space, especially with all those sp's and ep's. I have 8 GB and no matter, my game will still lag some. My toughest time is loading but after that it is pretty good. Your graphic card sounds like a good one, anything NIVDIA is pretty good!! I would add more RAM if I were you and consider compressing your files.

The best way to speed up your computer is to ensure your graphics card driver is up to date, my game used to lag until I upgraded my drivers, now it only lags because I have a billion .package files lol

How do you check if it is up to date? Because if that is the problem...then gawsh, I would sure like to know!

Oh my gawsh Shyne, my game is like perfecto now. Well, kinda. After installing the update thingy it totally set all options to normal in the game..so I will see what the game is like with High Texture and High Sims Detail.

Sorry, hun, I can't afford a new GC. I lost every single item from my game because of it and now it refused to load my game, I have no other way out.
Don't get me wrong, I LOVE the game and I still have the legacy/story in mind, but I can't do anything if the game doesn't load

The speed of your game is a combination of your processor, graphics card, ram, etc. Also, you want to make sure to optimize your general settings for game play. I hate Aero because it just drains memory, so I always have my Windows set to classic. The graphics cache on that card is pretty small (256 MB, if I'm not misunderstanding), so you probably want to eventually upgrade it if you can find a deal on parts. If you get a new card at some point, you'll want to make sure you get a card with at least a 1 GB cache. NVIDIA is great, but can be really expensive if you're trying to save. You can find very comparable AMD cards for much much less.

I'm saying this while I'm currently on a laptop...haha. But, yeah, definitely keep your drivers up to date!
