I started working on a story with my sim, Lainey. I was planning to start her out in Bridgeport and eventually move her to either Sunset Valley or Starlight Shores, but noticed that she kept getting the want to kiss Richie Striker. Richie is married to Stella when you start out Bridgeport, but for some reason, Stella irritates me. It wasn't too difficult to break them up, but I wasn't too impressed with Richie's appearance.


I gave him a little makeover, because he had a somewhat cartoonish look. I gave him a different hairstyle, but my nine-year old daughter wasn't happy until I put his original hair back.


This is Lainey. I actually have a written story about her, but needless to say, I don't think I'm going to be able to follow the story. Lainey is very loosely based on my first uploaded sim, Quinn. They are pretty similar to each other.


I'm now thinking about moving Lainey, Richie, and a few others to Starlight Shores and start my story from there, but I'm still not sure yet. I might just decide to use them to start a legacy and use another sim for my story.

wow they sure look great. really gorgouse sims. he sure looks familiar. i keep thinking, john ross jr or that actor who play king henry the 8th in the tv series.it something to do with the features. good skintones there. what that one using ?

Wow!! Your 9 year has great taste and a good eye!! On the original I agreed with you, take the hair off, but once you completed his makeover the hair suits him perfectly!! Beautiful couple and I really need to get that thread up so we can post bio's on our sims. I'm trying to either find or make a silhouette banner of some sort and I've got to complete the guidelines but I truly think that thread is going to be a hit!! I so love reading about others sims!!

I will try to get that finished up before the end of the week, maybe just dedicate Saturday to completing it. Just a ton of stuff in rl going on!

Where is our graphic artist hiding?!! I think we need to have 2 here so I'm not stuck like this. :'(

I used Ephemera's Weak freckles skintone, mamx.

I showed my 9 year old what you wrote and she smiled, Cece. I tried out almost every male hair in my bin on him, but nothing else seemed to fit him and still sort of keep the Richie look. I actually started Lainey with an ea sim from the bin, but the more I shaped her features, she began to resemble Quinn. I did use the same skin and lipstick on her, but everything else was different, which is why I said she's loosely based.
Are you looking for a banner with a cameo on it? I googled it and found some pretty nice cameo silhouettes, but I'm pretty clueless when it comes to graphics. I am usually pretty good at hunting things down on the internet, though. Let me know what you're looking for and I'll keep an eye out.

If anyone is interested, I could upload my version of Richie sometime in the future. I think I'm going to do a legacy with Richie and Lainey, but I don't mind sharing. I'm also thinking about going back to Bridgeport and fixing Rafael Striker, too. Richie shouldn't be the only good looking Striker. ;)
