I just updated to the recent patch and now my game states that I have mods that need updating although I don't have any core mods. Does the sliders hack need updating or any other simple mod like that? And the oddest thing also, my game loading screen was totally whited out except for faint lines showing the title Sunlit Tides. Anyone else experiencing any similar problems?

I guess I took for granted that just maybe this patch would not fudge up my game!!!! So angry right now!!

If you are using awt's slider hack, it does need updated, Cece. Not sure about what is going on with your loading screen, but almost every mod I use needed updated.

Thanks Kat, do you know if they have updated? I had this same problem with the last update so hopefully that is all that is needed! Won't be able to work on it until mid week and hopefully that screen issue is temp.

most mod do need updating and by the way. if you went and updated your mods, sliders, etc. make sure you did download the new updated version and not the same old ones. some people have done that and did not realized it. and when we do update the patches. do make sure all mod packages folder is moved somewhere safe ,till the the patch is done, then move back in your mod package folder.

did you delete the cach and simcompostior files in the sims3 folder so that that the game can regenerate remake remade some new one for the game.
i wonder if some sliders will now conflict with the new patch due to the new sliders that came in it? and then there supernatural itself that will be more perhaps. ah we need DACHS to tell ussssssssssssssssssssssssssssss! WHAT TO DO . THEN IT THE SAME WITH SEASONS ALL OVER AGAIN our wee po heads sigh. have a good day.

just keep an eye on the stuff u need to update. there like a whole list of the link that get update and stuff isnt over the right side of the screen at

it a reminder really what to go look at. or just look at your files.make a list ,visit them sites , download everything u need. it will take a week or 2 before the dust settles im sure.

I just checked S-Club and they haven't updated their slider hack just yet. Hopefully they will have it updated by the time you're able to work on it again. Oh yeah, if you are using cmar's skintone panel, that needs to be updated also. I didn't realize this until I got into my game and couldn't change skintones in cas. Just wanted to give you the heads up.

S-Club's 3D eyelashes or sliders don't need updated. They worked fine in my game. As far as I know, the only thing that needs updated there is the slider hack to increase the number of sliders.

yes! same thing happend to me. i got rid of my slider mods(cuz it was giving me the same message as you cece) but my game is still kicking me out of it and not saving 2.
i also get black around the save icon when i try to save it.


i figured it was the sims i had downloaded recently and the world but i guess thats not the case.

this has been happing before i downloded the patch so idk whats going on.

I have a couple of sim ladies coming soon, mamx. I've noticed a few new things in cas with the patch, but I didn't really explore it too much. ;)

@Stevie: Did you clean out your cache files after you deleted the slider hack?
