Insurance Paid

My witch sim caught her lot on fire - no damage was done to anything except the grass - and after the firefighters put out the fire I got a message from the insurance company that they were paying $506,000 for damage done.
wtf *NEW*

Is that a glitch or has anyone else ever had that happen?

OMG that is a TON of money!! Never ever have I got that kind of money from insurance!!

Me either. I think the most I've ever gotten before is $8,000. It must be a glitch. I sat here staring at the screen thinking I had to be reading it wrong or it would correct itself. Nope! Insta-rich! cheers

I'd seriously consider burning my apartment down and everything I own for that. I could easily retire on that.
But I think my renters insurance people may get suspicious if I increased my coverage to that amount. LOL!!

That happened to me but it sounds like someone in sim-land effed up some paperwork and now your sim is swimming naked in a pool of money laughing
