Yep that's cool indeed!! Thanks for the share! If the store stuff you download from there doesn't work (doesn't install properly) she also provided a tutorial about how to "unblock" the store stuff here

Aw, that's a shame. As long as it's still kicking, literally the entire store can still be downloaded from More Awesome Than You, and you don't have to comment or be a member to download the items. Thread is located in "Pudding Factory" on the forums; I'm paranoid and afraid to post a direct link. Most of the store stuff is also on Sims Fairy Tales (you can google it and find it in the first few links), but you have to be a member of the forum to download.
Definitely keep in mind the link Eva posted, as you have to decrapify content to get it to work in game. Sometimes people who share files have already done this, but most prefer to re-upload "untouched" files that you have to decrapify yourself. I use the Compressorizer's decrapify function because it's easier to have one program that does several things.

Yaw I download most of the stuff from MATY. Well, I did. Then I had to stop 'cause my game slowed to a crawl. >:
I guess I just find it amusing for how fast that link went down after it was posted. Normally I'd be against piracy and such, but pricing expansions at 44$ bucks a pop and with the tiny amount of content that comes with them? Nope. I'm sure a lot of the sets on the store were taken out of the expansion packs too. The outerwear sets, to name one.
If they were reasonably priced (lulz, 20 bucks for half a living room set?) I'd buy stuff from them no problem. Until then? **** em. I spent 90 bucks on the digital collector's edition of Mass Effect 3, played it for 3 hours, hated it and couldn't get a refund. As far as I'm concerned, they have enough of my money now. <:
Also. What is up with the lack of non-modern furniture? I can't be the only one who hates perfect square-hard-as-a-rock couches. What about more nice, round-ish leather couches? >:
I do like a lot of the store hairs though, especially some of the styles for men.

I have everything from the Store/MATY installed as packages, just because it's easier to weed through what I want/don't want, and 1000x easier to install. I pretend that it is slightly faster this way.
I agree, I actually like a lot of the store hairs. I retextured all of the hair and edited the specular on a lot of the clothes (ew, rubber shine), so the package format makes that a lot easier too. I'm so insane that I actually deleted the multiple presets on all of the clothes (this brought down the filesize a little), and made the default preset in colors I agreed with. I also made sure that they all had correct thumbnails (and deleted the sims3pack thumbnail file because it's not used once you convert to package) so that the game didn't have to generate thumbnails for those items when I loaded CAS. For some reason, keeping the thumbnails loaded in the file versus the thumbnail cache (I know you can clear it), makes CAS slightly faster for me. On top of that, I re-categorized everything, so I don't have 100 items loading at once in CAS, especially in inappropriate categories, and I disabled every single item for random. <--- I have problems. X___X
Yeah, between all the games they release, and even for those who are only Sims players, EA has enough of our money. X___X I've bought all the EPs and SPs, but the store is just a horrible deal. In the beginning, I purchased a few things from there, but I ended up decrapping them anyway, just so my store content was all installed the same way.
I am 100% with you about the furniture. Super modern/minimalist furniture is not my thing at all.

Yep...Ameenah...you DO have problems!!! Lol! Just a tad OCD maybe... j/k with you, but darn girl you totally rerouted your game and I love how it sounds. Can I just send you my game contents and you do all that stuff for mez?????
And I thought I was the ONLY one who is sick and tired of seeing all this OLD Victorian, Alien and now 70's crap!! I want modern! I want cute sectional sofa's, round ottomans and pretty much anything they can make that has a nice modern style to it. I'm tired of the lopsided looking stuff also and I agree...THEY CHARGE TO FREAKING MUCH for just a tiny bit of stuff that you probably won't even use once!!
Ea has pinched, fiddled, fudged and buffed it's way around squeezing money out of us for this game. So SHARE AWAY I say. I literally got a bit sick to my stomach when I realized how much money I have actually spent on just this ONE game. I have 2 ep packs that I don't even have installed...just a waste of money....tragic....
...ok...rant over....but yeah...what she said....modern furniture and clothes please.

LOL I had a bit of a laugh (giggle) about your rant CeCe, but I do agree with you guys! ;) EA just charges way too must in most cases for what they offer, especially when it come to Stuff Packs. And in a way because of that, they "encourage" these kind of sites sharing the EA stuff for free, me thinks.

The doctor is shocked to see this so he says: "Excuse me, miss, you must have the wrong place, this is a dentist's office."
The lady answers back: "Well, didn't you put my husband's dentures in last week?" the lady says.
The doctor nodded.
"Well," the lady said, "now you have to get them out."
