As far as the second hair, if you are using Beaverhausen's retexture of the Monte Vista hair, he said on his tumblr that it affects default eyes in a weird way.

you gonna need the dashboard mod software to find which hair conflict with what hair. that how most of us do it . some creators have made sure their hair dont conflict with another same hair. such as creator bring me victory. not sure what your mod package folder content look like now. but you said you comress. some merge their packages. best thing is to remove the hair causing conflict and picking out which one of hairs you want. good luck with that. and wow katink got a good eye and memory for that hair wow.

and wow katink got a good eye and memory for that hair wow. Haha...not really a good memory. I was actually looking at it earlier today. I did remember the style from Monte Vista, though. I liked the mesh, but ugh...EA textures are awful. |

Yeah, Beaver didn't pack that hair properly. I converted the Monte Vista hair for my own use, and basically he linked the wrong Face Specular in his file when he cloned the hair - a lot of old hairs by Oepu have this problem. Sometimes they also cast a mask over the face, not just the eyes. I think SimmerStore also uploaded a version, so I would use that one instead. Retextures will usually state whether or not they will conflict with other retextures. While there is a way to remove packages from a merged package, it's not easy, and you're better off starting over. Mamx gave good advice, but that will only work if you have *separate* packages to start with. In future, you need to keep a copy of your files unmerged outside of your Mods/Packages folder. This way, you can easily add or remove files from your game in the future.

Thanks for the info everyone. Yes I have DelphyDashboard but most of my conflicts are tattoos and I never saw a problem until recently. I had a feeling that extracting the packages wouldn't be simple lol. Since I have the day off, i've decided to just delete all of the hair packages and start over.

dont forget one not needs to keep everything, for example. i have eyebrows ,1,2,3 and i have the same eyebrows again but they are combined or merged by the very same creator, the one that would say alleyebrows. that i forgot to do oops. ameenah is right about all that stuff yeahhh. one does need to keep the packages in orginal format even though they are merged for later on , whatever that may be yeah. to make new merges or not .

There are a couple of hair retexture creators that I stay away from due to conflict. Beaver is one of them...although beautiful, for some odd and strange reason they make my CAS funky. :'(
