What other problems is NRaas causing since the latest patch?

Regarding the NRaas mods/hacks....are overwatch and animator 2 of the known mods that are known to be causing problems with patch 1.50?

I stay with 1.48 until there would be 1.50 version of nrass master controller, overwatch, shooless, and kamasimtra, living/ simming without them is simply impossible for me

actually last time I got trouble from "moar interaction" mod, I wonder if that mod has been updated, I miss it so much.

I know that Errortrap is a big problem causer. I think Ameenah also listed that Integration causes problems if you have University installed.

Yep, Kosmo is right about Error Trap and Integration. However, Error Trap was updated yesterday, and apparently a lot of those issues were resolved. I don't have University yet so I can't say for sure whether or not it still interferes with any gameplay.

Animator is totally fine - it's not really a regular NRAAS mod because it doesn't interject interactions - it's more like Pose Player.

I haven't heard about any big issues with Overwatch.

It sounds like Traveler and Error Trap have been largely repaired. Smile

Okie dokie...I think it was Overwatch...I can't really tell if he updated it after the original 1.50 update, but I'm going to uninstall and reinstall the mod anyway. Thanks for the help!

Woot I'm glad they''ve been updated I'll have to tell my sister because she was having problems with her university world.

Yep...mine ran awesomely for 2 straight days and then it started hiccupping again. So I'm going to try to change the Overwatch out and see if that is possibly it. pale

He literally updated Overwatch sometime yesterday as I typed out that last post (the file will also show the last time it was updated, the latest one should say 3-14 - if it's any earlier than it's not the latest) - so I'm crossing my fingers that it irons out some issues! Twallan also noted a mistake EA made with the rebellious trait, protesting, and skilling - apparently EA forgot to add a line somewhere, so basically, on each save/reload those sims need to be reset to continue skilling correctly. Although it's an EA bug, He's working on a fix for that bug through Master Controller/Overwatch.

Mover was updated March 1st.

I try to check NRaas every day or 2 - I am just that frustrated that my game doesn't run right any more. pale

pdx...is this since the 1.50 update? And I'm with you...I'm ready to beat my games arse!!! You just get tired of working on it more than playing it!

Yes, these are since 1.50 - and I hope he fixes some more because my sim finally got her degree and my game refused to let her go home. I am so frickin pissed. It is stuck in University.

i lost my whole save game it disappeared. so had to use my backup save game ,which was only 3 days old, so that world is stuck in the days and time when kitana was still just a baby eeks.

i played in the university world for a while . i wont miss any of the stuff there , i can start over no proble. it was more a test run really.interesting time for sure.

Like I said...we spend more time trying to fix our games than actually being able to enjoy and play it. I want to go in the game...my 2 babies have their first day today....but after hearing about all this... I doubt it. I'm sorry pdx...I know that has to suck, and mamx....I know you are glad you had a back up!!

FYI - NRaas has updated a couple mods in the Story Progression set as well as Master Controller and Overwatch. Maybe others too.

Take the time to check out what mods you can update in your game.

I seem to be experiencing ET problems since patching to 1.55. I have gotten several script errors. I start my game and everything seems fine but then all of my pets started glitching and constantly resetting themselves every few minutes. I cant play for long periods because of the resetting...its very annoying! witsend

All of my Mods are up to date to my knowledge (all of Twallans are!). Does anyone have any idea on what I can do?

I play my game on my Laptop. Win 7 64-bit OP.All of my EPs except for about 3 are Digital Downloads, and only 2 of my SPs are Physical Downloads, the rest are also Digital Downloads.

All of my Digital Downloads are from Origin. I downloaded the patch through my Launcher and even tried the Super Patcher...so far no change. I'll move my CC back in bit by bit maybe something got mixed in...I'm pulling at strings here. unknown

take all your mods,hacks out to a safe place outside the sims folder game. play the game and see if it works ok ?? we hope

and dont forget to say if your game is on a mac or a desktop or a laptop. that seem to make a different
and oh yeah is the game digital or dvd. some patches are meant for the digital download only or the dvd . steam or regular. maybe you got the wrong version of the patch? im just trying to come up with ideas here. someone might have some idea .

and i wonder if maybe pet and patch1.55 are mentioned over at the sim forum. we all like to know what going on too yeah

i would go back to all sites that have given you your mods , hacks. they sometimes have to update more than one time on one mod .i had one before that was updated like 2 times since 1.55 patch came out i think it was. think that was nrass stuff i think ,

I had that very same problem with Pet's. My pets would be normal, then morph into strange shapes, then pop back normal again. Also, I don't know if it was Pets related, but my game would freeze, at least my sims would freeze and just stay stuck. Wind would blow, trees would move but my sims were just froze.

I'd say to do what mamx suggested first to see if that possibly was the problem. Then once that is resolved, if you still have problems we can take it from there. I ended up just taking Pets out of my game so I can't help you much past that. Good luck!! wink

I just recently put Overwatch back into my game because it would start lagging after a while. I'm hoping this fixes it, but who knows. I'm still getting some errors though of unroutable sims, so I'd really like to turn those notifications off. Anyone know how to do this? Also, when I go into CAS it shows ALL the outfits, like frog heads, maid clothes, Bonehilda, etc. - stuff that I don't want to see. Does anyone know how to turn this off so only the regular stuff shows?

usally someone over at the mod the sims make mod to hide stuff in hide someone else does too.

lot of unroutable sims it seems. that the biggest glitch im hearing of now. i had a baby wouldnt move at all poor thing, had to reboot sigh.

I'm reading up on the myriad Nraas docs to see if I can figure out about the outfits in CAS. So I came across this thing called Blacklist. What you do is go into CAS and click ctrl and your right mouse button on an item you don't like and it disappears and go into some blacklist somewhere in the ether so you don't have to see that item in CAS anymore. This is good because there are some heinous EA outfits I know I'm never going to put my sims in. This also works in the make up part where the contacts are. So you can get rid of those face paints if you never use them (I don't). I noticed it doesn't work on the lipstick--didn't try it on anything else other than clothes and accessories. What I don't know yet and am still trying to figure out is if this only works for the individual sim I'm editing or if it's global (I hope). This would certainly make CAS load faster. There's also a way in Overwatch to make the command testingcheatsenabled true load automatically. Click on a computer, then select Nraas, then Overwatch and then Settings. There's a long list of items and third from the bottom is "Testingcheatsenbled." Change false to true.
