My game won't save... Anyone else experience this problem?

I have NO idea what is going on, the saved, or the 'saved as' game shows up in the Ea documents, but it will not show up when I go in to play the game. Any ideas?

I have occasionally had a game refuse to Save, but the Save As function always works. That is pretty disturbing. Do you have University? There's a thread about it here: http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-3/FAQ-Save-Errors-Error-12-13-15-16/td-p/652

I always use the 'save as' but I did wonder if it was related to University. I will check the link and see what it says. Thanks Eden!!

Hmm...checked it out and it only deals with 'error' codes...I don't get any error code, just not there when I go to play the game.

Ok...I think I may have an idea of why I'm experiencing this problem. For some reason, when I uninstall Uni...I'm not uninstalling it COMPLETELY...obviously just going through the control panel is not enough.

Does anyone know how I can totally wipe out Uni when I do another uninstall so when I reinstall it, it starts off as a brand new, never been to Uni game?

I think I'm going to use it to get rid of Showtime. I hardly ever use Starlight Shores and almost never use the clothing and build/buy objects. Thinking about trying Ambitions.

I think I will also uninstall Showtime...same reasons as you. I might as well...make room for new stuffz!! humana

Ok, here is the scoop so far! I uninstalled all of WA, and the University ep, added Pet's, uninstalled Showtime for more space and no lag game wise...just in case, and now have University installing again. Fingers crossed this works this time!! If it doesn't...complete uninstall I suppose... unknown

And I doubt I will have Pets on my game long...just wanted to play with a puppy or kitty...and it was seriously on sale on Origin!! $9!!!
