So, I posted a tutorial on Tumblr a few days ago on how to draw hair, and I figured it'd be good to post it here for any who missed it!

While this tutorial contains 28 images, and 25 steps, the real process of drawing the hair is more like six steps, however in this tutorial I try to give as much detail as possible to leave little questions/confusion.

I am not an expert in gimp, and this tutorial requires very basic knowledge of the program, it's tools, how to use them, and what they're for. I am also not a help source when it comes to basic knowledge of gimp. Google would be a more reliable source when it comes to picking up tips, tricks, and information with Gimp.





















































These next two images offer you a little help when it comes to drawing the hair on the scalp. They do not offer a tutorial however, and only show you what your scalp SHOULD look like, in comparison to what it SHOULDN'T look like.

Take a moment to part your hair off, and examine it in the mirror. No matter how thick your hair is, there is a thin line where the skin from your scalp shows in the middle of your part. Adding this line to your hair drawing (By simply not connecting one side of the hair to the other.) will make it look less like a giant blob of hair, and more realistic!

Might I add, your sims are gawgus and I am now in love with your latest set of eyes you made!! I use them often in game!
