Hi all! I asked on Tumblr but haven't received an answer yet so I thought I would ask on here too. I am trying to make custom shirts for female young adult with the front having sayings or words. I cant figure out how to do it. I wanted it to be a crew tshirt or a tank top I am using gimp and TSR Workshop. If anyone can please help me please and thank you in advance.

Im not sure what level you are at so I hope this makes sense... Under the textures tab in TSRW there is a stencil tab click here and you can import your stencil. You may have to play around a bit until you get your placement rite. hope this helps

No, sorry, as far as I know there is no way, unless you know something about modding. At least I know some of us know how to convert or change clothing from expansions packs. I remembered that I was disappointed myself then. But I suggest you first start with some simple stuff. As you get better, you can ask around on fora how use meshes and textures from other packs.

I only know how to make cc paintings but I use tsrw and I imagine you're using that too. There is a way to import new objects that are not EA's meshes. When tsrw opens you click on Create New Project then click on New Import and then another box pops up and you can browse your computer to find whatever mesh you want. You have to select either .sims3pack or .package file in the drop down menu. Also you want to make sure that the creator has given permission to use his/her mesh. If you want to select a different expansion pack you go to Edit (at the top tsrw) and click on preferences) and then you should be able to find your expansion pack in there somewhere. I did this so long ago I hope I'm telling you the right way. I hope this helps because, like I said, I've only ever made art work.

Well, thanks! I've learned something new today. And now I remember it all had to do with copyright.

Guess what I run into at Tumblr? A tutorial with screens about customizing cloting from Expansion pack to basic game. So I think the first part is very usefull. And then you'll need to make a texture of your own. This is the post link, but I also reblogged it so you can also check my Tumblr. ( link = under 'this')
