Playing Sims keeps me sane and gives me something to look forward to when I'm bored. I am obsessed with Zombies, Hello Kitty, the color pink, and cupcakes.

| So unfortunately my package files are not showing up in the game. I downloaded some mods and other files from ModtheSims and they show up fine and when I scan the folder with Delphy's dashboard, they appear and are fine and there doesn't appear to be any issues. The other package files I downloaded from other sites (mainly Sims3 blogspot sites), aren't showing up in the dashboard when I troubleshoot and they aren't showing up in the game. I have tried deleting cache files and have moved my downloads folder (containing my sims3pack) out of my Sims folder to see if my package files weren't showing up in fear that the stupid 1.57 patch was disabling package and simspacks from coinciding in the game. NOTHING happened and nothing fixed itself. I also tried to start the game without doing it from the launcher and then tried again by starting as an administrator and still no luck. I'm sorry for complaining and asking for help again, I just would really enjoy seeing these files in my game. I downloaded a lot of cute stuff/content and now it's not working and sims3packs are a pain, but if it comes down to it, and no one can help, I'll probably see if I can convert them. If so, can anyone tell me how to convert package files to sims3packs? (Kind of a last resort thing). Thanks so much! |

That's what I was thinking too. You should go and redownload the original mod folders over again. |
