Make a Sim

Subject: Make a Sim December 2nd 2011, 7:09 am

I thought I would start posting pictures of sim like people that I find on the internet and especially seeing as how many of us loved making the one i used for Hairette...So here is the first sims challenge...No real deadline but I will start posting a picture a week so if we pass you buy just refer to the picture you used by numbers......thought this would be fun...Also some of these artworks there i no way to find the items to make them exact...what i am looking for and what you should be doing is making your version or interpretation of what you feel these artworks mean to you...That could be a huge range of ideas...no one is wrong in what they make...No ones skill level is not good enough to do this...even if you are a beginner these pictures are meant to only be a guide...you should remember that we do not want to copy them completely...that would be plagiarism anyway....so do your thing with these...

(also this Zakk0 is not the artist...its just someone on the exchange that is making sims from pictures and marking all over the art his/her name...Not sure if that is the right thing to do...especially when this is not your art...but anyway...just wanted to put that here so you know i am not taking someone's art and posting it...cuz i have no idea who made these or i would link to that site......):

Oh I do hope you do Skye because this is for anyone at any level...It is for practice as well as for just to have fun with. I downloaded your other two sims you uploaded...the collie and the sim. So yeah I would love it if you try this.

And Jaedub I love anything that you make. =) I am in awe of your sims so I cannot wait to see what you come up with..

I love sims I think that is what it is...they do not all have to be perfect and some can even being pudding faces i just like variety in my game...some of my prettiest sims off of pairing up a pudding to a non pudding sim. So please do not let anyone keep you from creating. We need variety as it is the spice of life.

One question though, what is the difference between a pudding and non-pudding Sims, I hear that all over the place and I have NO idea what it me confused

A pudding sim is one that looks like the sims the game comes with and not much difference...like the ones that come pre-installed...a non-pudding sim is one that has been edited to look unique.

Hun you pick anyone you want to pick...all you do when you post your sim is place the corresponding number to your sim...just pick one...i am off to look for others on the web and place more pictures up...just be sure that when you post your sim that you place a number next to your sim that corresponds to the pictures above...i ran out of things to say about the pictures though. Ohhh time to boot up my game!!! Mary we need that new Peggy side tail re-textured please please please with eggnog and fruitcake on top!! And like she said, Jae just mentioned yesterday how cool it would be to do this on a regular!! Seems like we all are on the same page here!!

Not sure but i will find more pictures too so anytime you just want to pick one and we can keep this thread going....we will have some to pick from...when the thread tends to get old i will get more pictures..

Worked on number 7 some last night/this morning...very interesting things you learn about the sliders on the Sims 3 even with additional sections. It's seriously hard to make some parts even remotely look like this/these characters. So I had to put a lot of my own style into her. Still working on her and will upload pictures when I finish her!!

Oh boy!! Can't wait to see all our outcomes!! Is there anyway to put numbers on the additional pics or just find our own way to show which one we are trying to make?

I agree with orange i think she is good..i like her and think she is pretty. Like we talked earlier in the week everyone likes different i and love your sims..i wish you would know how good you are at creating.

I agree with the above, I think you did an awesome rendition of the model, trust me, this is NOT a easy challenge but I'm always game for a challenge. I guess I need to go in game and finish mine up so I can start working on number 2! Oh...and I LOVED that model but refused to even attempt to do her because I knew I wouldn't even come close to a likeness like you did!

Shyne,I really like yours,she has the same feeling as the pic,mysterious!
The orange one is crazy cute too!Awesome job!These are really hard to do,but so much fun!
I ended up doing two,LOL,number 7 and number 15.Number 15 was more of an inspiration rather then trying to recreate the sim hiho

I also photoshopped the lighting and softened edges!

I'll get number 15 really soon too,just want to touch things up!

You did awesome...This is suppose to be our interpretation of these pictures...there is no way to get them exact...its for fun Sweetie..did you have fun making her? If it was i am throwing this computer out the window that you had then yes this probably wasn't what you would want to do but if this was inspiring which it looks like it was then I know for one i am glad you did it...Now do not forget I would love to download your model when you are ready to upload her...some do not like to share their models.
