Putting up this thread so that everyone can show off their Island Paradise pics. Show us your favorite sims having fun in the sun, on the beach, diving, or whatever else you can think of. Just keep it somewhat PG, because there are younger simmers on here.

I only have a few pictures that I've taken today. Sent my mermaid family to the beach and they had to cross water to get there, so I guess I found a different way to transport toddlers.

I like the scuba diving.

Throughout the entire game I have not found one single gnome...  And they are so cute!!! 

me neither , my sim been swimming snorkling and at level 2 weeeee he can go scuba diving oh it so pretty - my sim live close to rocky reef that where he going lately. he found some things snorkling there. shark attack oy! and what else. oh
it snowing in is mmmm what am i doing wrong mm. i go to option but it seem to be not turned off right sigh.

I don't have it in my current game but I have in others and sometimes the knomes show up. Buy the wind up music box in the child's section and put it on your coffee table or some other surface. Have you sims wind it up and listen to it. Sometimes a knome shows up after that. They're cute but can be annoying like turning on your tv all the time.

I haven't had snow yet, but I turned the rain off. I got tired of it raining every day.

i know a secret new cheat oh boy

oh the rain the thunder the ligtening good lord it a bit much , it would make sense if it the rainy season but really it a bit much in is isnt it. i had to use the cheat for weather. i did go to option to turn of winter but i didnt turn of snow maybe that why it didnt work not sure. but i cheated grrr.

oh cute there are 3 black eye suzie flower how odd . we get them here too so pretty. diasy are lovely

I actually like the rain and thunder, but every flippin day in summer time is a bit much.

Well this is supposed to be Jamaica or someplace like it I'm guessing, and so maybe it does rain a lot there. I have no idea, I just know I don't want it to rain SO much in my game.

i would vacation there for sure mm very very nice. the world is called isla paradiso which means in english is island paradisco. im thinking it somewhere in mexico or south america but it not really islands down there is it? never left north america .

Cece i showed Todd (mamx) my newest sim i was making and he said wow it looks a lot like Cece's....so i can over to find the thread...lol..

Here's my makeover of mermaid Javiera Batista. I'm trying not to change their features too radically, although this girl clearly needed new hair. Her eyes are not contacts, I just lightened the ones she came with.

im doing the same thing trying not to do alter them too much, cause i might make them look all the same , that so boring to me.wooooo , well good work , loving the green eyes

mm there no way around saving the sim at all. can one turn them human make a save file or something awwwww

I haven't tried yet. Wonder if you can save them to the library.

make a save of the orginal mermaid to go in the saved sim folder or library folder or mmm. whatever rule ea has for npc sims that are like the waiter or postal boy mmm , can they be changed ? saved . mm i keep seeing that we cant so far. has to be a way.

Some good looking makeovers you guys!! Beautiful sims everywhere! I agree about the rain...what's up with that? I think it's not rained only 1 day and that's it, rain every single day practically.

katink , i moved bree and keith hopkins to island paradise to the 100 000 grand boathouse it is furnished. ththat my second attempt though. first time the game said the houseboat had squatters! and it dirty. to move in it dirty or move in it clean. picked dirty lol. oh the messes all over the boat and there ere rats! eeks

I'm glad to hear that Bree has made it to Isla Paradiso.   I haven't tried one of the house challenges for a while. The last one I did was in Sunset Valley and the house had gotten hit by asteroids...space rocks were everywhere.

house challenges ??????? what that? i just picked a house . i went to sunlit tides had keith use his phone to move his family to island paradise. it take a while.then it done, then pick a house. that take a while sometime why?
so that what i did. umm
hamburger soup is mostly ground beef and tomatos. i cook the hamburger and drain . got celery -onion saute a bit in big pot. in goes the can of tomatoes i like the kind that not sweet. some water . salt pepper, herb spi ces whatever u like usally. i put in worchestire sauce chili pepper ,oregano i think or was it parsley ,beef b roth too that make a diff. it pretty good,it not chili but a soup.

i put in the stuff i do like mostly. and some swirly cooked pasta at the last minute too.

Oh mamx!! I love that houseboat!! It's gorgeous! I have not come across a house like that since the beginning of the game (base game). I loved it, cleaning it up and then redecorating it! I may see if I can do that again. It might only be available when you chose to move via phone or with me via computer.

Maybe I can get a few hours in tonight of game play...I got absolutely nothing accomplished here on the site today...I'm pitiful aren't I...?    

if it was empty house in game you should be able to make a copy of it and save in the house bin then you can use it over over perhaps? i save empty houses i like so that i can use them again if i want.


just looked in the house bin , there are copy of the floating fortress and the odessey houseboat already in there . so you should be able to play more with that eh?

I decided to work on an Island Girl, not a makeover. I got inspired by Brooke Shields and Cindy Crawford and this is what I came up with. I think neither lady is drop dead gorgeous but their masculine features and of course, those thick eyebrows make them very unique. I'm very pleased myself with the outcome. I didn't make her to be stunning, I wanted her to be pretty but in a unique kind of way.

Her name is Lylah Lopez:

You should be very pleased with the outcome, Cece, because she is very pretty and unique looking.  In a way, she kind of reminds me of Michelle Rodriguez (Letty from Fast & Furious).

Thanks Kat, I will have to pull her up because I have no idea who she is right off the top of my head! Lol!! That is one of my sisters movies....

this is where they live. they are very happy family i must say ,the couple just like one another so much and they sure do have fun doing things together it seems. bree went swimming with kieth, after the ocean swim she made some funny face , he was on his phone and not admiring her bodaicous body i guess. lol. he now at level 4 sport fitness. omgosh she just love to swim wow. ganngbuster. he like to do anything active he a nut. baby kitiana just loved her babysitter . aw so far so good good wow.

thought my family was in island paradise and when i went to start the game , it showed the family as being in sunlit tides in the screen , weird but they are moved to island paradise. wierd. confusing ,ah that simming for ya

Lol every time I try to move my family to a new neighborhood using the new method by EA my game gets "stuck moving" My sims just continue their daily lives but I can't save or edit town because "You can't save or Edit Town while your sims are moving".

well they move , the game leave the previous world and turn the world on that you are moving to , it like rebooting starting the game over. then it finish then i go and pick a new home for them .mmm

question about island paradise. how do we keep zombies out? now we have boats and houseboats. how do we make fences gates work?

I have two different families living in a houseboat and have gone through a couple full moons. I haven't seen one on a houseboat yet. I've seen them outside in Island Paradise when my sims live in a regular house though.
