hiya Evie. first of all i would just like to say thank you for posting thing and informing us of what has been going on. i for one don't have any problems or issues with the site or anyone here. but if anyone has a problem or issues with me. ie something about myself they do not like or i have said. they can feel free to pm me and i will gladly reply in a friendly and honest manner. and answer any questions they wish to ask me. "I feel like I want to reply to this post and put forward how I feel. Firstly I dont know how you can say you have lost 3 members...you've lost one and banned the other two they didn't have the choice to leave. I also don't understand how you say people can express an opinion but as soon as someone does it's jumped on like vultures on a corpse if it isn't the right one....I also don't understand how you didn't see this coming and it comes across as you're shocked by it when you must have known some people would react this way to people leaving and the obvious clamp down that has happened on this site....I know I'll probably get a ban myself for posting this reply and in all honesty it doesn't matter because I'm leaving anyway....I'm saddened by the sudden lack of respect that people have shown each other over the past few months and saddened that a site once loved so much by a lot of people including myself and those that have gone has become a place of bad feeling and arguements....it's not hard to understand why people felt like they couldn't say anything or have different opinions when the people who did were made to leave...surely you know not everyone is going to feel the same way about things or even like each other because people are different but it does feel like our differences are trying to be surpressed. It's become a place where I feel like I'm no longer safe enough to express myself because I'm always wondering am I doing or saying something that will get me banned? I know sites have to have rules and I'm not disputing that fact what I am disputing is the way they're enforced...banning members when it has been stated that CStyles doesn't want to ban it's members....and coming across as people who only want members but only those who wont say anything that may cause someone to disagree...you can't wrap the site in cotton wool and try to stop friction from happening because if you do then all you will be left with is a very empty site....I loved this place and was proud to be a member of a site that hadn't fallen victim to the bitchiness that had errupted across the sims community...sadly that is no longer true and why I feel I can no longer be a part of something that has become a shadow of it's former self.

I am so sorry you feel this way broomie, but in all honesty the members that were "banned " were done so because they were disrespecting the rules and not being nice when asked to to so, in that respect the admin/mods had the right to ask them to leave so that other members are not put in a position were they feel uncomfortable in any way shape or form. If any one person doesnt feel they belong here at cstyles or anywhere they can leave, but do so with dignity and respectfulness of others.

but they cant leave because the admin have removed the delete button therefore taking away the ability to "just leave"...and if people we so offended why didn't anyone say anything especially if they're not scared of having an opinion or dont feel like they're walking on egg shells? As far as disrespecting people well there's been a lot of that going on and not just the people who were removed ( not asked to leave as you say)....the rules seem to be bent for those and unwavering for others and if thats not disrespectful to membersthen we dont agree on what disrespectful means... there's an obvious distinction between what we call fair and I think the banning of members was not handled in the right way nor was it fair...maybe I was blind to all the posts that said how uncomfortable people were or how much they wanted the 'offending' culprits to stop because I sure didnt see anyone out there complaining.... I feel there's a huge lack of dignity and respect here so how anyone can talk about these things is strange because they're obviously something amiss around here..I'm in no way being disrespectful myself but I dont want you to be sorry at all and neither do I want apologies....I just want people to realise that they will be disagreed with and there will be arguements but is that really a need for behaving in the way that's been seen here over the last few days? I understand people's toes have been trodden on I get that others may have had their noses put out of joint by blunt members who put forth their opinions and had every right to do so as it's a forum and people are here to voice their thoughts but at no point should people be made to feel wrong for being themselves and having a different opinion.... did they go about voicing themselves in the right way? Who knows...should they have been banned for their opinions...in my eyes no...people will be people and it's going to be mighty lonely up there on that pedestal once you've alienated all the members who dare to disagree or voice themselves in a way that is deemed unfit...but if we're playing the game of respect and dignity maybe the people handing out punishment should step back and re-read their own advice...maybe and it is just a maybe they were in the wrong too...wouldn't that be a funny thing the people at the top being wrong....there's a saying I find really fitting for this situation..."two wrongs dont make a right" and there has been nothing but wrongs throughout this whole sorry mess...

Broomie...as I know you have left already...I still feel a need to speak out on this.

I'm seriously surprised that someone who just yesterday, last night to be precise can be on the site, commenting, laughing, joking with others can turn around the very next day and post such hurtful words.

Broomie, if it is your intention to leave a place, why do you feel it's necessary to leave with saying such nasty comments regarding others on the site and the site. You may have not directly spoke against anyone, but in a whole you have.

We have some truly BEAUTIFUL members on this site with nothing but BEAUTIFUL SOULS!! People who go out of there way to assist someone, cheer someone up or just be there for each other.

Like Evie stated, and no Evie I don't mind you posting this, there are TWO SIDES to every story...sadly we can't/won't tell the entire back drop to this out of respect to the parties involved.

Every site is going to have some problems at one time or another and I'm proud to say that Cstyles has been drama free for over a year...and with it being a site only a year and some months old...I'd say that is pretty good.

You make a statement that we don't like to ban...that still stands true. I've always expressed this, but since someone has been banned, why throw that up? Not wanting to ban someone...and HAVING to ban someone are two totally different things.

I think some people join a site to only try and cause problems, while the majority join to experience the fun. I'm glad that the majority are the fun and not the other way around!

This will not be the first time Cstyles has had problems and won't be the last...it's just par for the course with ANY site. We anticipate this, but we don't go looking for it either.

How it can be stated that this is a site that doesn't approve of having your own opinion, then why do we go out of our way to make sure that members can enjoy their privacy in certain areas of the site. Why is this said place aptly called the 'bullshit' box? Actually it's called the 'party and bullshit' box...because it is a place where there is nothing but total freedom there. Freedom that NO site can just place out in the open. We have young people visit and members of this site, and we do try out best to not only protect them but appease the older crowd as well.

Trying to keep so many people happy is not easy, never will be easy and never will never happen. There are some people who just like the darkness that surrounds them, envelopes them and they want to try and bring others to their misery.

I'm glad you decided to leave only because I'd hate anyone to stay that is that unhappy with the situations. You have seriously exaggerated the whole incident and I'm truly trying to understand why.

The only conclusion I can come to is, you are upset because your SISTER got banned and I guess you are trying to speak up and out for her. That is totally understandable and forgivable.

But in all honesty....you and I both know that all you have done is try to stir up a hornets nest with your comments and remarks.

Broomie when you decide to do something...do it for you...but don't try to hurt other parties involved or not involved as this case is.

Like I stated...this whole thing sounds NOTHING like you...it's even harder to believe that you actually wrote this because as I've stated, this seems nothing like you and is totally out of your nature.

To all other members, we have to maintain order and a sense of calm, at least as much as possible. Not every member is going to be happy as well as not every member will be upset. I'm doing the best I can to keep this site running as smoothly as possible, Evie and EvaTer, Angie and Miss_Lochness...we all are dedicating our time to assure you the best possible experience possible when you visit Cstyles.

No one gets paid one dime to put in all the time we do on here, we do it because we care, because we want too, and because we enjoy it...but when you have someone step in and try to be hurtful...it hurts more than just a few people...it hurts many.

I'm very hurt by your comments as I'm sure the rest of the staff as well as some members are.

I wish you nothing but the best and hopefully you will find a site that is pristine and has NO problems whatsoever at any given time.
