Lately, I've been really wanting to make my sim's homes more life like, I mean I have to stare at them the whole time I'm playing so I might as well make them awesome. Today I went on a HUGE, and I mean it when I say huge, "shopping" spree. I really wanted a lot of clutter items and such to make everything feel all the more real in my sims.
Have any of you guys ever felt the need to make your sim's homes more life-like?

I used to be a clutter-addict just for that very same reason, wanted things to look more life like. I've since eased off of it because when you look at it, it actually can accumulate very quickly into ton's of custom content clutter. Christmas I had 2 homes so beautifully decorated with EVERYTHING only to have to take it down after the holiday's and remove. That is a bit TOO much life like for me, plus I hated having to take it all down because I was proud of it.
I think we all are a bit obsessive at times with custom content.

Yeah, I really have an itch to decorate. Even though I rather horrid at it. >< Hahaha, I've been stalking forums all day looking at challenges people do decorating rooms and I'm SOOO jealous. ><
I wanna redecorate an apartment, but Bridgeport frustrates me to no end with it's slowness.

I personally dont have too much clutter, i have a little bit but not too much, i download more hair, make-up and clothes, what i tend to do is every couple of months or so is clear out the cc that i dont tend to use to give me room for more.

Hahaha I feel like I started an AA meeting but more like a DA meeting ;)
Angie I was doing what you were, but then I felt like my sims are plenty gorgeous and their houses didn't match their attire. I'm thinking of uploading a few houses I've made here, just to see if any of you like them. :D
