I want to see if you can copy your exact bedroom, the way it is at this exact moment clutter and all! No cheating by trying to spruce up your sim bedroom especially if your real life bedroom is a mess. :-) You can use a house you already have or just build a room as close to the size that your bedroom would be if it were in a sim home.
If you have a walk in closet...build it, is it neat or messy? Your own bathroom, build it...make this room as close to possible as you can.
Take at least 3 shots of your finished bedroom
You can include your sim self if you want, but I prefer to just see the room and it's furnishings.
Take at least one overhead shot of the bedroom.

Not all that cluttered, the bath isn't quite done renovating . However I usually don't make my bed. I took more pictures and these ones show up. YAY!

Well so far so wow! I love you bedroom size!! If my bedroom was that big...I'd hardly ever leave it, add in a small fridge, a wall flat screen tv and I'm set!!

Ohhh K...I went a bit overboard on the pictures. It was one of those 'I can't decide which one to use, so I used them all'! :D I had soooo much fun doing this challenge! I can't wait for the next one!!


Ok here's my bedroom!




So here is a view with the walls partially down, showing my bedroom, the bathroom and my closet.






This is a view of one side of my closet. And it's a very close similar...just minus the added real life clutter.





This is my bedroom door area...and yes, I do have a basket full of stuffed animals in this very spot and a plant and lamp almost exactly like this.





This is my little 'entertainment' area. I'm sorry the pic is kinda of dark, I didn't feel like going through the lighting stuff. Very close to my actual as well. I love pillows, on the floor and on the bed so this is something that is well known to friends and family. And I would NEVER put my laptop on the carpet, but I couldn't get it to go on top of the bed so that's close enough.






This is my only window in this room! Don't why they didn't think to add at least another window or a larger one. As you can see, I have this bad habit of taking of my shoes and dropping them where they may.





This is the corner where my dresser sits, for some odd and strange reason I forgot to add the mirrors!! I have 2 that attach to the dresser. Plus my dresser is huge and long, so I had to combine 2 dressers to make it similar. As you can see, more shoes and pocketbooks and here begins the book clutter.





Ok...before you gasp, laugh, giggle or laugh out loud until you fart, this is so close to what this side of my bed...my room looks like. I have this awful habit of just letting the books fall where they may! My purse sits beside my bed, more shoes and I actually have several suitcases in the corner because I don't have room in my closet! I do make the books a little tidier when I know my Mom is coming to visit! :-) I do have a bookcase in my study, but it's such a pain to keep getting up and trekking the books back and forth and I am an avid reader!!





This corner shows the closet door. I do have a walk in closet but it's stuffed to the brim.





This is like a frontal view of my bedroom, or at least the bed. The bench is very much like mine but my has arms on it. I keep it loaded with pillows and my bed is loaded with pillows also as well as blankets across it. I don't even use most of the pillows and blankets, I'm just used to having them and it does look pretty when it's tidy and they are placed correctly. :-)





It was almost uncanny how close I was able to make my bathroom. This a the view from inside facing the bathroom door. The bathrobe/towel rack hangs up higher, but my picture has these very colors in it. I have a basket with extra towels and my clothes hamper in these very spots.





It feels so weird seeing this pic as it totally depicts my bathroom. I have a bar of lights with this big bulbs over my mirror, couldn't find those but everything else is about the same. I have so many bodywashes...I think it's a weakness...see something new and I've got to try it!! :-) My actual tub is bigger...it reaches from wall to wall, don't know why this didn't work and couldn't find the tub/shower combo to replace. I also have a double curtain with the shower valance in front of my tub, couldn't find one similar so I just left it off.


Hope I didn't bore you too much with my display of my bedroom. This was just so fun and I've never been in a challenge like this before. I promise in the next one I will pick my pics more carefully and post fewer. Lol!!

You can't have more than I do...can you? I get it from different sites, and I've been collecting clutter for some time. Start with ms3b and typing in 'clutter' in the 'search' bar. That should take you several different sites, I will 'try' and that's a big 'try' to see if I can help you locate some if you have any particular items. I can tell you that you will find the bunkbeds going through ms3b's site. So....did I lie when I said my bedroom was full of clutter? :lol:

well im in a small room with my sister who is a pack rat soo....there is quite a bit of junk in here lol

ok here is my room. keep in mind that it normally has clothes laying all over the place same with random clutter. every surface is covered in my room.

My side of the room. Keep in mind the bed is suppose to be a bunk bed. i have the bottom bunk, and yes i have burnt orange sheets with a pinkish/purpleish blanket lol my side of the wall has a small whiteboard and some pictures of my niece and ive got various clutter on my nightstand table and desk. this is where my computer usually is but now im using my sisters space because my monitor doesnt work anymore


My sisters side of the room. her wall is cluttered with drawing and pictures and random crap like that so to represnt it i put various pictures up lol. her dest is covered with stuff. and the closet door we took off so we could actually get into it. right now it houses a bookcase, some clothes and a shelf of my food because i have to buy my own food.


Alright! thats a very neat and tidy representation of my room. i usually have clothes spewing from my dresser and some on the floors. and there is alot of clutter everywhere. i wish my room looked like that! lol and we only have one window in here, but the bunkbed blocks most of the light so it gets kinda dark in here lol

Oh Kellebelle you bought back some memories of a time when I used to share a room with my sis! *sigh* Boy I'm glad I'm not there right now!! You room is so cute, very 'sister's sharing a room' and like I said, memories. We used to refer to 'her' side and 'my' side of the room. I got kind of sad though when I saw that you have to buy your own food and keep it on a closet shelf... I don't care how old my babies get...I still buy the 'main' food and most of the snacks. As a matter of fact, my daughter is the only one still at home yet when I grocery shop she is the first one to make sure of that has her special snacks and favorite foods. My son who is not in the house, can still come here and find his fav's and my nephews also now have their favs here. Shoot even my Mom has her fav items here which I buy and just keep here until they visit. Everybody pretty much knows when they visit me that there is always something here that they like! I spoil them! My Dad has too many favs, but likes everything so he is pretty easy to please.

Ohhh..then maybe make our dream home!! I can't build worth a darn but I'm proud of my bedroom...I LOVE the closet because I've never had a closet in my sims game!

lol room by room challenges would be fun! and its ok that i have to buy my own food because then i know i have something to eat lol my mom and dad are in a real budget crunch right now so i try to help out as much as i can by fending for myself lol im lucky to have been able to stay here this long, they are having a hard time right now with money. but they know i would have no where else to go if they kicked me out. i wouldnt be able to fend for myself, i dont make enough money for rent

Ooohhh my little kellebelle! I know it's rough times all over. I'm glad it's something you offer to do to help out. A lot of people wouldn't even think of aiding their parents...I know my son doesn't. He stayed with me for about 2 months when he and his fiance' broke up and he didn't want to offer a dime and makes really good money. He is a head chef! He didn't want to get an apartment because he knew he would get back together with her, so he decided to mooch off me. I finally had to say something and since then, he will just come by and ask me if I need anything, or he will just buy me a surprise gift. He bought the sims for me and wanted to get me WA, but I wouldn't let him becaue of all the bugs. But I really do commend you on being so thoughtful to your parents!
@Zeri...yes Zeri...we would love to see what you have!! So get busy girl! You will probably be in my boat if we do a room by room, since you have 3 kids, I have 3 bedrooms so ours will be a little more detailed, not unless someone comes along and they have more than 3 bedrooms! But yeah...that would be awesome if you get involved. I'm almost a little embarrased by how cluttered mine is....I did tidy up a bit tonight because it was a little in disarray and I plan to clean the closet up soon. Just as soo as I know I have NO more mice scooting around!

this is the corner near my side of the bed. that lamp is supposed to be a lava lamp. and in the corner instead of a plant, its supposed to be rolls of wrapping paper. aaand that painting is supposed to be the grim reaper lol




heres nates side of the bed. its actualy much messier but i dont have any random clutter. the books however are mine. and the fishbowl is actualy a tarantula terrarium




acriss from the bed are two closets and a small table with a tv on it. the tv isnt hooked up to anything so it doesnt work. i do actualy have swords hanging on the wall, but these are a little differnt from what i have




my stereo table near the closet. theres also an old computer monitor on the floor near there but i couldnt do that.




this screen thingy represents the old headboards leaned up against the wall. i didnt have any other CC that looked anything like that.
i have nowhere else to put them, so they just sit in my room.




a view from the bed. its actualy pretty accurate, except my room looks crappier lol. i wish my stuff was this nice. and that painting is suppsed to be a demon guy on a horse.
the screen by the window is a crib that hasnt been put together yet.



and those posters over my bedtables are suposed to be fractal looking things. and i dont actualy have a headboard on my bed. this bed came the closest to the crappy bed i have

@cece, i try to help out as much as i can, ill help put gas in the car, and buy my food but that is about all i can do with what i earn at work. and i made my room a little to long, my room barely has walking space and my sims room has plenty lol

Zeri I'm with Kelle...how do you sleep with a spider on one side, grimy on a wall, skeleton horses in front of you?! Yikes!! I love your room, it speaks a lot of personality as do all of ours. Isn't it nice but weird having the ability to see inside of each others lives this way. And Kelle, I realize that my bedroom should be just a touch shorter...I placed furniture in, the main pieces that is, and kind of built around it. But it is still pretty accurate. It's getting messy already again!! I hope more will go this challenge!!

I have a spider phobia. No way could I sleep with a tarantula in my house let alone in my room.My niece Jackie lives with us and she works at the Pet Shop. One day she brought a tarantula home over night. Didn't sleep much.I agree with Cece, Zeri your room has lots of personality.Kelle your room reminds me of home.Cece your closet! I would kill for a big closet.

Bubby I would have to have told the niece...'it's you are the spider'!! And then when/if she decided that the spider stays...it would just happen to have disappeared while she was away...cage and all....just 'poof'!! :D
Walk in closets are great...when they are tidy!! Lol! Mine stays a mess, too many clothes, shoes, pocketbooks and I really do have a chair in it...it's an outdoor chair that I don't leave outside because the kids play with it too much and take it their homes. (I've had to track my chair down!!) I did have 2!! So I try to only take this out when I want to sit by the door or by the park! (hate park benches) And really...I have WAYYY more clutter than I depicted in the picture in my closet!!!

Very nice Eva!!! Love it! I did the same thing you did, I got so excited building my room that I decided to add on and build 'a' home. Not my, similar but not exactly! I'm in the process of finishing the interior of it and then I have to do the landscaping but I will post those pics as soon as it's done. In the meantime, I've built another cute little house, one bedroom, one bath and I love it. I built it to represent a 'real' style home with a laundry room and closet in the bedroom. It's completed so I am going to post those pics shortly as well.
Again...great home!!! Please tell me your bedroom isn't that tidy...it makes me feel like a clutter bug, yet it is a true representation of my real bedroom!

Hmm, I knew you were going to visit me, so I tidied up the place a bit.... Hahahaha LOL
As a matter of fact, I don't have that much clothing-clutter-CC, so I wasn't able to use this clutter to 'decorate' my bedroom with it. So this isn't a true (tidy) representation of my bedroom However it does give a nice view of the place and how it's decorated.
In addition in real life, I have a walking hair-storm-twister, a pussycat called "Lady" who 'clutters-up' my house as well...
Awww, no she realy is sweet & I wouldn't want to miss her for a sec !!

Do like I did evergreen...I have a very large dresser so I merged 2 together to make it a close resemblance. I forgot to put mirrors on it!! But give it a go!!! Pwese!! I want to make sure I'm not the messiest one here! :D
