Now let me tell you a little bit more about me! I'm 19 years old (15 is not my real age). I live in the United Arab Emirates, I know Urdu, Arabic, English and Japanese. I have 3 cats and 1 horse. I love reading books, listening to music and best of all playing sims!

Last week I went to a store to buy the Sims 3 Ambitions which is AED119 (I live in the UAE so this is Emirate Dirham and thee Sims 3 is AED175 and all the expansion packs are AED119 and Stuff packs are AED59) I saw Generations on the shelf near Ambitions and I saw the price of generations was AED139 and I got so angry, how can they make Generations so expensive? I checked some other stores and it was the same price! Sims 3 is becoming too expensive these days and i just can't handle it!

Wow! I didn't know that the Sims 3 generations was more than other ep packs. That sucks!! It shouldn't be any higher than the other packs!! EA is just a money grubbing pit of poo!!

That sucks Abeer !! Maybe it's country depending these prices, as the prices here in Holland have remained the same for all EP's (EUR34.99) and SP's (EUR 19.99) and the Base Game for EUR 59.99

Perhaps because it's the latest expansion pack and Ambitions is older?
However, its the same price down here as all the other EPs. About $49 if you choose the right place. I think I saw it for $60 somewhere though.
EA is a money hungry crappy games company anyway I was going through my games and about 90% of them are EA and they all CTD. Nuff said.

nah when i bought my base game it cost me $40.00 us. which i expected because its the root to the game. All the sp where 19.99 and the ep were 29.99 ...then out of nowhere they raised the price to 34.00 for exp and then generations was $40...smh and then they throw a cheao looking set together and sell it for 19.99 or more
