I got a fatal error, like so many times before, and now my sims pictures to the left are not showing and I can't control them. Is there anything I can do. I really don't want to lose this family, but I'm headed to Hidden Springs now and getting ready to give it a ride. My son got it over the weekend and he loves it so far.

Did you recently download anything new? Mods can do this sometimes.

It happened once to me, however the icons eventually loaded and I could always control the sims. Check your files, think of anything you have downloaded that is new and was installed before this started happening. Once you've identified them, remove them. Also, old mods (skills, story progression etc) that have not been updated for the current patch, will also do this.

I used to have this happen all the time when I first started playing last year then it stopped. Sunset is the biggest pain with this. I really like Sunset but I;m going to have to let it go. I really don't think it's anything downloaded. I use pretty much the same thing over and over, no problems. I've moved on to Hidden Springs now and taking it for a ride. Hopefully this world will be better. Thanks for your help!!!!!

Oh my how I LOVE Hidden Springs!!!! It's smoother game play than Bridgeport...it loads SO much quicker and I have NO game lag!! I'm totally in love with it! Not to mention I love the view, some of the back unpaved roads and more lot space!!!! Plenty to do, I haven't even fully been through the whole world yet but so far I'm loving it!!

I'm not sure what you mean when you say your sim pictures are not showing up, but if it happened when you went to save your sims so you could move them over to HS don't worry about it. I did this and some of the icons didn't show up but if you hover over them with the mouse pointer the icon still is active.

I moved all my sims, houses and families over to HS with the only problem being that they didn't show up in some of the icons when I went to move them..

They are still there!! Like I said, hover over them and if your pointer reacts you are totally fine and once you get to HS they will show up!!!
