i cant get my Sim to have an imaginary friend doll.
when my Sim had twins,it said their "grandma mimi" had giving them dolls that had magic powers or something and it was in their inventory.
i looked in every-ones inventory and even the family one,and no dolls.

i am guessing it a bug.
if someone can help me find information about it or knows,let me know

That happened to me too. My sim kids didn't get their doll. What worked for me was going into edit town and evicting the family and moving them back in. Going back in game, the kids had their dolls in their inventory.

( P.S: Supposedly, when you have the kids already playing, it has a random chance to come IN THE MAIL, and u must go open the mailbox wich will put automaticly the dolls into the kids inventory )

When creating new family with kids there is only a chance they will get the doll. Though I never had to get it out of the mailbox, they were always already in the kids inventory if they got one.

As for playing a family already in progress, I have only gotten one in the mail. But I do think it is bugged as I have had to evict and move in the family to acquire their dolls.

Depends on the situations;

Yes, when creating a family, it is just a random chance to have the doll already in the inventory;
When pollinating, then yeah, the mother will look up a new mail saying some weird family sent them a special toy, and once u take the mail it automaticly goes to the babies inventory;

Now there are bugs indeed wandering around of dolls missing, imaginary friends missing: Most of the times evicting and putting again on the house is enough (for me it wasnt ._. ) , they sometimes can just become invisible, or tottally disappear, but its also a chance. My first ever imaginary doll didn't have one single bug.

I don't like the imaginary dolls. I try to delete them and they come back.
