I would like to start using Twallan Mods and would like some quick info please.

I went into the site and read over the different ones they have and see several that I would like to have.

Am I correct that I need to basically have the Basic-Mod installed for the Mods to work.

Are there many problems with Twallan Mods not working correctly?

When a new patch comes thru EA or when installing a new EP or SP do I need to remove the Mods that I have installed until glitches are resolved.

Do I just put these files into the Mods folder or does another folder need to be made. I see the download file but wasn't sure where it was to be placed.

I hear a lot of people have the Master Controller, is there any Mods that are more recommended than others that anyone uses.

Some where I read that Twallans can get rid of the celebrity stars, while reading I didn't find this listed, does anyone know about this?

Twallan mods work fine for me. You do need the Base-Mod of any hack you want. Like for instance, you need The Sims 3 base game to play Ambitions, Late Night, Outdoor Stuff, etc. It works the same why.

So if you want Story Progression: Careers mod, you have to have the base mod, which is Story progression download and in your mods folder. You have to have Master Controller for any of his stuff to work.

To remove this mods, click on the town capital (where you get charisma classes, and political jobs) and then click Nraas >> Master Controller >> Town >> Reset Everything. Then Save As... (where you save your game) and save it as a new save game.

This will reset everyone in your world and they will be at home. Then you can remove Master Controller and whatever else of Twallan's you have and replace with the new one. Always have backups of your stuff.

Make sure that you are patched to 1.29.

So, you go to his site (link) and click Master Controller (link) Then you read through. Scroll down and you will see links (Base-Mod, Integration, ...). Click Base-Mod (link) (remember base mod is similar to base game, you need the original for any of the related stuff to work.), then read through. He tells you how to uninstall there. Scroll down and you see the link for Master Controller at the bottom.

You must download Master Controller (base-mod), integration, and if you want to, Cheats. From there you can download what else you want. Make sure you have a separate folder for hacks and stuff so it will be easier to find and remove stuff.

Master Controller can remove stars. Have Master Controller, Integration, and Cheats installed in your mods folder. Click on sim >> Nraas >> Master Controller >> Intermediate >> Celebrity Status.

Great explanation. I have a practice city that I try everything on first before I go to my main city so I'm going to give it a try and see what happens. I appreciate your help, hopefully I'll have some good news.
