Ok, I decided, after debating back and forth with myself to try the new 3D lashes. I was a little unsure after seeing all the different things you had to download and the instructions...of course the instructions coming from such a genius mind that created them...not easy to follow...at least for me. Luckily our wonderful EvaTer decided to make a tutorial...for people like me....that not only explained totally and simply, but also had PICTURES to help understand how to work the eyelashes!! Yippee!!

So I'd like to share with you, my work with the 3D lashes, which after doing this ONE time, I now know I can easily do without fear from now on!! Of course I'm not eager to have to do this WITH EACH AND EVERY SINGLE OUTFIT due to EA's wonderful (sarcasm of course) tech support team that give us these WONDERFUL patches and updates!!

I suggest anyone fearful of trying these eyelashes to just follow Eva's wonderful tutorial and you will be so amazed at how awesome these lashes are!!

I exaggerated the length to show full effect...but believe it or not, this is not the longest they can get!! I sound like an infomercial don't I?!!

After playing around with the eyelashes I decided to also play with some of the sliders, the mouth specifically and made this little sim that is so happy that she smiles all the time!! Now THIS was NOT easy!! To make her smile without her mouth looking distorted in normal everyday sim life...boy the times I had to start all over again...I lost track!

But the end result, if I must say so, came out so good!! I'm thinking about offering her up as some sort of 'creator's prize' model sim!! For those times that you just don't feel like using the pose playing and need just a simple...smile.

Oh no Eva, THANK YOU!! I would have probably never tried without your detailed tutorial!! Most helpful and very nice instructions to easily follow! Thanks on the sims, I still have a tad bit of work to do on her mouth...I'm not totally happy with her bottom lip, too big, too fat, so I've got to go back in on her and fix that up!! But again...GREAT TUT!!!! Others need to see it so they can try the lashes as well.

I've been contemplating today about those lashes, they look so good but it seems so complicated What hairstyle is that in the first few pictures btw? It's fab! The sim is so pretty

I thinks the hair is Newsea, but if it isn't someone will come by here and correct me. ;) Trust me, I was hesitant to try them at first myself, but EvaTer's tutorial makes it so easy!! Just follow the instructions and after the first time you won't need to use the instructions anymore. I love them!! They add such wonderful depth to the sims eyes and the bottom lashes are superb!!
