Click to download Custard

It's called custard and you can check to be sure your files are not corrupt (shown in red) before uploading them to the exchange. I have gotten in the habit lately of checking all my files..

The reason i am asking since i guess about three or four weeks ago i found out some of my sims were no good...i went through and now have a clean game...i would love to be able to download some of the pets, or sims...but a lot of them are all red when i check the files. I don't want that to catch over to my sims that i create so obviously i now am more careful...if you find out that your sims are showing red then that means that it is a sims file that is corrupt in your saved sims bin causing all the problems and you will probably have to do what i did...start all over with a clean game...no sims in your bin. It is really upsetting when you spend loads of hours on a sim to find out that the sim file is corrupt and the only way you can tell is by using custard and checking the sims pack before uploading or going to the exchange and downloading all your sims or pets and checking those files to be sure none of them are corrupt....same with house files...its the same if you have a corrupt file in your library file that is what is causing your house files to be corrupt...you should be checking them as well with custard...I am just trying to educate those so maybe we can all get back to playing our games and sharing and not having to worry about corrupt sims, pets or houses....i would love it if we didn't have to worry about it...its a shame the exchange isn't made in such a way that the file wont upload if its corrupt. I guess there is too many files being upload to check them all before allowing them on the exchange.

I hope maybe this will inform others to custard and start getting more folks to using it to check their own files before uploading them....i just went through and found someone who makes awesome pets...one named Chem and all her pets are corrupt...so sad..anyway i will get off my soap box now...

On that note i am asking everyone to delete all the sims i have made in their game (but these last few that you can find now on my site...they are all made with a clean game and are all clean)...due to the fact that somewhere i downloaded a corrupt sim and it caught to all my other sims and i am sorry for the inconvenience.

I will say i will make this promise to all of you...from now on that none of my sims will ever be uploaded without checking them all first..and that goes for my houses and any pets i may make as well. It is a real shame to have almost a year of sims erased in one swoop by me downloading a bad sim file from somewhere. I am very sorry to all my fans who have downloaded my stuff that this has happened. I hope you can forgive me and will stick with me.

You can only use custard to check sims3pack files...this means there is no way to run dashboard on your SavedSims folder...which i wish we could...that would be so much easier. But you can run Custard on your Sims3Pack file that you use to install your sims with...I just think it is a good idea if we all stop for a minute and check all our files. It's the least we can do for those who download our stuff and depend on us to be responsible and making sure we are uploading good stuff.

Paypal and your password...

Okay on another note i had my paypal account hacked into today...i am not certain if its from TSR or from the newsea hack that happened...anyway...on that note some of you probably should change your paypal password...this person whos email was SlaveBreed@hotmail.co was trying to take only 10.00 of my dollars but i stopped it before it ever happened and before they could have taken more. Also you probably should change the password on the email associated with your paypal account...this is what the paypal rep suggested for me to do because she said they probably had that info as well. This person whomever's email is SlaveBreed logged into my paypal account over 10 times yesterday and did this around 1:00am my time which was a dead giveaway to the paypal rep...Also her IP addy came from another country. Apparently this person must have had my email addy info too cuz i never got the message that i just sent SlaveBreed 10.00...also it was done with an ECheck..i never use EChecks...if i am gonna pay someone i am gonna pay them either will my paypal debit card or send it instant transfer...

I use custard and dashboard too and made the same experiences with the exchange and some other sides. A lot of sims and houses are corrupt and I have the same errors when trying to upload something even though I checked my whole cc and the library with the dashboard tool or custard and nothing seems to be corrupt unless I try to export it. I removed my complete CC and started the game without, exported a new sim, checked her and she was corrupt!!!! It's hard but I think I have to clean my sim bin and library as you did. I'm not sure if I save my sims back, will they be faulty again? I'll give it a try and thanks for your message.

Successsssss, I'm happy! Thankxx so much. I've searched a solution for weeks. I deleted every sim in my saved sims folder. Now my uploads aren't corrupt any longer. And best of all I saved a old sim from my game, exported her an she did show up correct. Even my old houses from my library are ok. hiho jubilation

I am glad it helped you...so many do not realize that their problem with a Sim is a bad sim file or the problem with a house is a bad house file and so on....if its a sim then its a sims file...if its a house then its a house file in your library file and if its a pet then its a sims file as well but its a pets file. So basically you have to start off fresh pretty much. It's a hard way to learn but I am glad i am back to square one...some of my sims i will miss but it's my own fault really for not using custard every time i download a sim of someone else Sims.
