What do you think?

Does anyone know any other tutorials for lips besides the one at Mod the Sims and Shyne's. Yes, they are great tuts, but I just wanted to know.

I like the way IN35 does her lips (how do you do it? Seriously?)

I like them, but I want to some more to it. I just don't know how. :/

I tried making lip gloss with Shyne's tutorial, but that was a huge FAIL lol. I didn't like the colors it made.

I changed them a bit, made the Face Overlay a bit more lighter. I like this too.

@Vanity: Actually, I'm not sure. LOL. I used Shyne's tut for this. I just about know it by heart. I think this is the best lips I have made by far.

Thanks. I want to make the texture of the lips more pronounced. I'm not actually sure how to do that. :/

Hey, they look awesome.

I like the placement of the shadows/wrinkles on the upper lip - but do you think the lower lip highlights would look even better if they were slightly lowered so that they are more in the vertical center of the lip?

Yes, really soon I will. I just have to fix a few things, not a lot. I'll post them today possibly.

I like the second try best!! I don't really like matte lipstick in real life and sims but the texture looks almost real!! The lines are beautiful. I like a bit more dip in the upper lip but not so where it looks too overly done.

You have true talent girl, I so wish I had some it myself!!

I think the lip gloss looks very promising ! I like the shape and the lines, it looks very realistic and natural. Great job so far !

Okay, so I think I moved the 'shine' part down a bit. Still not sure how to make the top lip more pronounced, hence it still looks flat. Yeah...

Note: I have the lipstick on max.

Edit: (5:21pm PST) Getting help from MTS Creators Chat. I think I have may have fixed the 'flat top lip'. I"ll post another set of photos in a bit.

Yes much much better!! There is a mod tool that I use to help shape the upper curve of the lip and I love it! It gives the lip a more 3D look. Can't wait to see the completed version. Now...I've just watched a great movie, the site is totally updated, Facebook is totally updated and now it's time to load my game and see what I can get into tonight!! I will be around though!!

Shoot!! I forgot to eat dinner!!!!! Well...let's pull some chicken nuggets and fries out of the freezer for a quick meal!! THEN I go in game!!

Not upload multiple files to Servimg, but create folders.

Oh, I didn't mean upload many files, but multiple pics at once. So is this the same thing...just making one file but adding all the pics you want to upload?

I'm going to post lips now for download. I have not forgot about the poses. They are going well, and are a surprise (especially to myself.)

Well... I usually work separately on the upper and lower lips texture...
Then scale and distort the texture (using the IWrap tool in Gimp) til I like the results xD

The top lip drives me insane. That is the main part I have trouble with. I don't like the flat looking effects...

I have that problem with the lips that I make too... The bottom lip texture looks decent, but the top lip looks completely flat. A lot of the time I just don't really care, and move on, because if I get too involved it may become hazardous to my mental health.

But I tried this one thing once, and it didn't turn out terrible. I selected a small portion of the texture from the bottom lip, using the box-tool-thingy, with "feathered edges" at about 50, and place it somewhat near the center of the top lip. Then, it gives the top lip some texture, but doesn't look totally fake.

Oh really? I thought about doing that Daphne, but I more concerned about the end result. I'll do that next time, and try IN35's way also. I just don't really like the top lip. Thanks.
