Has anyone noticed that with a lot of CC, the fat morphs are poorly done and even ignored, sometimes... Like shoes...I looove shoes! But most of the really high heels only look good when the fat slider is on the skinniest setting. This goes for poses, too...most of them are made for only skinny girls. This really sucks because I don't like making skinny sims... Wtf, people!

Totally agree with your Akasha ! It can be frustrating at times ! I normally make "middleweight" sims, as I like simmehs with some curves and I don't like skinny sims, I have many problems with lots of poses and some CC as well For plus size models and above the problems are even worse ! I'm not sure about the poses, if that can be avoided but for clothing in general I think creators can do something about it (I think).

Yeah, my simself is about in the middle of the slider, and she's not that big...just curvy. As for poses, I think someone should come out with a midweight base and a plus sized base, so that we can make poses that work well with girls who eat on a regular basis. lol And clothes, I know they can do something to fix it, but they don't bother...they don't make fat sims, so who cares, you know. *sigh* Sorry... *calms self*

i agree with you there are also soooo many clothes created by good creators but they hide all the curves they make the sim super skinny even when she is not, i think it is a kind of discrimination against full figured sims like in real life also, so i understand you

OMG! Lol Actually I've been working on a plus sized pose pack for like a long time now but I haven't released it yet because I didn't think they were good enough. If you have any suggestions on what you'd like to see in that kind of pack I'm up for suggestions Akasha

I so agree!! I don't make skinny anorexic sims! I Mine always have curves and I hate when some clothes distort their shapes. I also agree with some of the poses being difficult to use on the 'so I eat some chicken and have a slice of pie' girls! And KK, I think anything showing a sassy big girl will be great. Put her in some of those skinny girl poses but made for her shape.

Oh, that's awesome Kosmo...what are you using as a model? I'd like to see a lot of the modelly poses that normally clip on big girls made for bigger girls. I had a problem shooting my simself because a lot of the poses, her limbs would sink into her voluptuousness...lol Any sneak peek pics for these poses? ps...Cece, you need to add that emoticon. lol

I love that when I make a nice busty sim and use a random pose on her, her boobs are invading her arms... Not. Fuller figured women, those that eat hamburgers with bacon and sims that venture to the right of the weight slider, need some love too! I don't know if it's just me, but its also like some skins aren't made for fuller figures either. For instance, the ones that have shaded in hips... When you have a bit of a belly, it looks so weird. I don't know about you guys but I have a nice tubby gut and I do not have shading where my hip bones should be protruding.

It is really infuriating how some clothes are lacking fat/fit morphs. It's caused me to wipe out a good bit of CC. >:O Granted, I certainly appreciate all the work that these creators are doing - but I don't want my sim's shaking violently on weird, broken-looking sticks, so I won't download anything without proper morphs. Plus, a lot of times, content that lacks morphs is also lacking proper LODs, might have weird bone assignments, and can be crazy high-poly = game crasher. As a result - my clothing CC is limited to certain creators. It's kind of funny that Sim fashion follows the trend of the real-life fashion world. You have these crazy garments and shoes that are only designed for a single, tiny size - out of ease and to cut overall costs. -____- Sims with their weight on the low settings tend to look like lollipop heads, anyway. ^Akasha, did you check out plus-size model thread that KK posted? :D I am really excited for those poses.

I don't have a list of every creator who does poor fat morphs/leaves them out altogether - but I do check the meshes of the items I download if the creator doesn't explicitly list the info (it's so annoying when they don't!). You can find out info about the mesh through S3PE and Milkshape - or Workshop, if you have it. If you want to check polys: Open the package file in S3PE and export the geom files - Open them up in Milkshape by "importing" (you need to have the correct plugins, but if you are using Milkshape for anything sims related, these should be installed) and check the "Sel/Polycount" info. I always check accessories because sometimes they have more polys than hair!!! It's craazy. And if you have a lot of high-poly accessories, at the very least, make sure to check that they are not enabled for random. If you have dozens of townies spawning covered in these items it will considerably slow down your game. Same goes for any high-poly hairstyles you have. Enabling/Disabling items from being randomly selected can also be done with S3PE.
