I am making a male Sim and would appreciate some female opinions on if I'm on the right track. I'm trying to get him as realistic as possible but get the classic - good looking rugged look.

I think you did a great job What do you mean by rugged?

I also think you are doing a great job on him. Maybe lower his eyebrows some to give him a more distinct look. They seem a little bit too high. Otherwise...I'd say so far so good!

@ cecesaun1 - Thank you for moving the post. I wasn't sure where to post it. And, thank you for the advice on his eyebrows - I lowered them and he looks better.

@ Vanity Sims - Ummmm. . . . . Rugged, meaning the opposite of metro-sexual. The type guy women drool over when he's wearing just jeans. The type guy that got his physique from being active chopping wood and such and not from being in a gym 5 days a week. The type guy that always has 5 o'clock shadow - not because he thinks it's fashionable but because he was to busy to shave. You'd know the type if you saw it.

But I comment anyway:

very nice looking sim guy, from nose down he is perfect in my opinion, his eyes otherwise are too friendly for the type of sim you want to achieve, maybe the outer corner of his eyes need to be raised a bit, or make his eyes squint more and also lowering his eyebrows to make more dramatic "eagle eyes" experienced though guy penetrating stare

He is a very good looking sim guy, but I would have to agree with Nav about the eyes. Ahmad has some wonderful facial sliders, one of which is the eye width slider. I use it when I want to give my sim guys a more narrow eye opening or squint. You can find the sliders here if you are interested. I apologize in advance if you already knew about them and I look forward to seeing your finished male.

Navetsea and Katink - I appreciate the feedback and opinions. I do already have those sliders however, I was wondering where the nose septum sliders came from. I have them from a sim download here on Cstyles but don't know where they came from originally.

I lowered his eyebrows which does look a lot better. I'll play with the eyes some more and see if I can get the right squint.

And Navetsea, I didn't mean to imply your opinion was any less valid. lol! I assumed (incorrectly apparently) that only women would want to give an opinion on such a thing.

LOL - Sellasu, I am not either. It takes me forever to make a male Sim because I'm not use to doing it. This sim took me about 6 hours total over 3 days. Female sims never take me that long.
