| I think you have done a wonderful job for your second sim! To use poses you need the pose player here is a good tutorial that will help you to download and install it into your game https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MWS5rJXpAYYGoodluck |

| Pdxwinn gave some great links - I'm glad that you posted some shots of her in-game! She's pretty and I like how you dressed her! She's both bad girl and glam all at once. Thanks for sharing here!!! <3 Sometimes in-game, especially if your sim is wearing some detailed items (anything with large textures or higher polycount) - your game might take a while to "fully render" the sim - so they'll remain blurry until all the textures are loaded. If your game is set to max settings, sit around for a bit to see if the pictures sharpens up. This used to happen to me on my old PC, sometimes it would take *forever* to fully load the textures - especially if I tried to run HQ mod. I noticed because it actually looks like your background is fully loaded, because it's sharp and well-defined, but the sim just looks like she might need a minute or two more to render. For the poses, make sure you have both the pose pack downloaded and the actual pose player: http://www.modthesims.info/download.php?t=438706 . When you have the player in your game, it should be located under Deco>Misc in Buy mode. Once you find it, place it somewhere in the room near the sim, when you click on it you should get a menu that has options like "Select Pose From List" or "Pose By Name" - click the list option if you've downloaded poses labeled as "Pose List Enabled" - or click "Pose By Name" if you have the code-names written down somewhere. From there you can either select a pose or type one in, and your sim will automatically assume that pose. |

| Much better pics especially the close ups. Thank you. I agree with the others above that she is very pretty and a good 2nd sim. Sims aren't easy to create and get to make realistic. If you don't have the full list of sliders - I highly suggest you get them. They make CAS much easier and gives you much more range. I'll include links below. It's hard to tell from the pics but do you use 3rd party skin and eyes? If it was my sim, I would use different eyes - there are several excellent variations on MTS http://www.modthesims.info/browse.php?f=375&showType=1&gs=2 . And different skin - I always suggest Navetsea' skins http://navetsea.blogspot.com/p/the-sims-3-skin-mods.html . The skin, IMO, makes or breaks a sim. You can create a stunning sim but if the skin is not attractive - the entire sim doesn't look right. I would give her cheek bones, nose, chin and facial structure more definition - don't just rely on the make-up to define her cheek bones. Make-up and clothes, to me, are just cosmetic and, most times, will be changed as soon as someone downloads the sim. I like most of the clothes and make-up you used but they aren't what I look at when I'm deciding to download a sim. . . . . . . . unless it's some really cool outfit or whatever I've never seen. I try to make the sim itself look as realistic as I can so no matter what clothes or make-up someone uses, the sim will still look 'real'. A lot of people I've seen use photoshop or similar program to make their sim look better - don't get in to that practice. The skill is in making the sim -not photoshopping it. Most of those sims look like crap when you download them. I think you are definitely on the right track to learning to make excellent sims. There is always room to improve but this sim is an excellent 2nd sim. Sliders – all of the following: Jonhas: http://www.modthesims.info/download.php?t=378416Arm and Belly: http://www.modthesims.info/download.php?t=404608Breasts: http://linna.modthesims.info/download.php?t=373389Facial: http://www.modthesims.info/showthread.php?t=413903Upper Lip: http://awtmk.blogspot.com/2011/07/geom-slider-philtrum-lower-width.htmlMale Lip: http://sim-uploads.blogspot.com/2011/07/hermis-lip-slider-yam.htmlOverlip Curve: http://linna.modthesims.info/download.php?t=473171Nose septum: http://awtmk.blogspot.com/2011/06/geom-slider-set-nose-septum.htmlThis is for a mod that increases amount of sliders and to increase slider range: http://www.modthesims.info/download.php?t=434270Or use Nraas Mastercontroller - I always suggest Nraas. He has some fantastic mods that I just couldn't live without. |

| Great advice! I agree that the facial/body sculpt of the sim is the most important part - I don't download sims too often, but I generally end up swapping out make-up and clothes to fit my own tastes/or to use CC that I already have in game. - pdxwinn wrote:

I've notice that a lot of people aren't aware that Ahmad actually updated his sliders a couple of months ago and added some new ones. Get them here: http://www.modthesims.info/showthread.php?t=477112I've had these in my game since he posted - and they work wonderfully. He corrected the location and spelling of older sliders, for one, so everything is easier to find. And if you have them installed, these will simply overwrite them - and your sims will not lose their sculpt - I used the older versions and was able to seamlessly update to these new ones with one exception, the upper lip height slider. I had to manually adjust that on sims that used it to use the new slider. |

| I think she is adorable and I also think it would be so fun if you experiment with the new sliders you have downloaded and play around with her...and then let us see what you come up with in version 2. Don't get me wrong...for a second Sim upload...you have done a wonderful job, and I think it's awesome how you eagerly accepted the advice you were given. Aren't there some truly great people here at Cstyles?!! |
