Yeah the features and game play on the new and upcoming EP Island Paradise are amazing!! I can't wait, super excited about it!!
On the other hand I'm a bit skeptical, as it involves "traveling" as well and we know what happened when WA got launched. I sure hope EA do their homework better before launching this EP!

Wow, this seems to include a LOT of new ideas and animations! I have to agree though...WA was a bad experience when it was first released and to be honest, I probably traveled about 3 maybe 4 times and it's currently uninstalled. I do wonder if it's true though...I thought the last ep was going to be University. How many more do you think they are making?

Well in one of the previous Live Broadcasts they made hints toward this expansion and also an expansion geared toward time travel or something. That probably isn't some people's cup of tea but that sounds AWESOME to me since I've been craving some futuristic looking things to add to my Alien story I have going on. There is so many things that I want to do with that story that is almost impossible because of the lack of futuristic/scifi fantasy content. This whole house boat thing sounds pretty wicked awesome for realistic players though Even to me! But it does make me feel that an entire expansion that seems to be geared toward warm weather/summer fun should've again been something included with Seasons....I just hope that all the house-boat lots won't be shaped like squares like they were in the Live Broadcast preview. Still too early on to tell.

I really hope we're not disappointed either. I wasn't disappointed with WA like so many other people, though, so hopefully it'll be great. I'm just looking forward to swimming under water and stuff. I just wish they would release a TS3 version of castaway...make it a stand alone game like Medieval.

I think simsvip said that there was an untitled futuristic pack and an untitled movie themed pack that were announced along with this one. I'm interested to here more...will there be flying cars and hovercrafts?! And will we be able to see our sims act? I really hope they bring back modelling from the first game.

Modeling would be cool!! Call my crazy, but I think some kind of amusement park would be awesome!! It would have rides, Ferris wheel, rollercoasters, bumper cars, cotton candy and hot dog stands...I would truly LOVE to see something like this added!!

The movie-themed pack was confirmed to be the last stuff pack - so I don't think it's going to come with any new interactions/careers - I'm still excited for the CAS items, though!

I'm glad they're introducing more things to do in the game. As of right now even with all of the expansion packs it feels like most of the time when I'm in game my Sims are at work/school and I'm just fast-forwarding the whole time. Boating and scuba diving? O.M.G

I wish they would have made it so they could have normal job hours, maybe not so much hours, but you know...like work a 5 day week with weekends or 2 days off. Also, vacation time after being on the job for a certain amount of time. Right now so much time is consumed with working or going to school you really have to rush other things in when you can.

I just wish they had more Ambitions-style jobs...I really enjoy being involved in my sims' work. I've been thinking of getting showtime, but I don't want to have to use simport and stuff... Another thing is, I wish this game was harder...I hate having to use mods in order to keep my sims from accumulating mass amounts of wealth from a crap job. I really loved TS2 in that respect...

Yey! This is so exciting my fave ep in sims2 was open for business so the resort thing is what im mostly excited about! This to me sounds like it may just be the best ep ea has come up with yet! I hope it really is as good as it sounds... I better do as much cc as possible now coz when this comes out il be to busy running my resort lol

Lol The Paradise expansion isn't until possibly this June. But who knows what will happen by then...
