Well I've heard so much about Ambitions...many good things, very few bad and of course with it being a very new expansion I'm sure that there are many reviews yet to come.
My birthday is coming up very soon and I just can't decide whether to let my Son get this or pass.

Help!!!

I think the Sims 3 Ambitions is definitely great & the best expansion yet.
If you love playing the Sims 3 and also love creating Sims, I think it is even a kind of a 'must'
If you don't want or like to buy it yourself, I think you should (probably need to) put it on your birthday wishlist !!

I don't know ladies...I went on the ts3 forums today and there have been some major problems with it. Not many folks but the ones that complained had some pretty serious complaints.
I need to decide....b'day is right around the corner. And Eva...I do enjoy playing the Sims but really since I put this forum up I haven't had a chance to do much of that and I do really miss playing. I do go in and work on Sims for upload because I'm just trying to get several together in folders and have them available. It just takes me soooo long to make just one! Hours and sometimes days...I'm so particular.
I am going to continue to check this thread and also go on Amazon and Game spot and see if there are any reviews on.

Well, I love it. i havent had ANY problems and Im a cc addict so im suprised. I recommend it, it brings o much to game play! And, lighten up on yourself. Take like a sunday afternoon to play sims or something. Have fun.

Thanks Dyl! How sweet! Well b'day is only 2 day's away and it's probably def a gift so I will be getting it. But I guess getting it and not playing it would make no sense. I do need to just take a Sim day at some point though. I have NO babies in my game and I only have 2 teenagers and that's because I made them. (I wanted to do a story on them...but who has the time?)

I guess maybe this Sunday I may plan a Sim day...maybeeee Sounds good anyway. :D

Well I have Ambition and have installed it! Still playing around with it learning all that it offers. EA pulled a fast one....I had not planned to register the game but the only way I could get all the careers was I had to register the game. Oh well...

I've ventured around town, viewed the firehouse and salon. I didn't go to the dump yard...no real need and my Sim was hungry and tired.

That was before I registered the game. Once I registered, I then got the added little bonus jobs and a few items...of course you already know about these.

I took my Sim to the computer and decided to see how to check these jobs out and liked how they have it in two different sections of job and profession....or something like that. Lol!

I chose the Architecture career just to see what the job does...do I get to go to work or what? Haven't been there yet.

Took a break off the game...went to CAS and decided to try and finish up a Sim I had been working on for day's...I think I'm finally satisfied with her and will put her in game. Mainly to take pics to see how the sim looks from various positions but also to let her venture into becoming a stylist perhaps.

Oh forgot...went to get a tat and it wouldn't let me...don't know why...I had plenty of money. I guess one of my sims has be employed there before I can get a tat. Even though I got a makeover...which was awful...not drastic....just awful. Lol!

So time to go back in game and see what else the expansion has to offer. A bit confusing...just realized the lot thing...I guess I can make new lots any size I want now...and where is the new town I keep hearing about?
