Oh my...I have had the glitch of all glitches in my game, IP to be more direct.

Some of you know about the sim that I decided to try out while my game was vanilla to make sure it worked properly before I installed my mods. Well, she is pregs so I decided to maybe play her a bit more and see what her story was about. (this is a character that Ea had implemented into the ep pack) I decided to give her a makeover but she turned right back into the previous Ea version when I clicked the check mark to return to my game.

Welll last night I decided to just put the makeover sim in the game since she was complete. I go to find her in CAS and it seems that even my sim, my makeover sim, did not save, she saved as the original so I've lost ALL work I did on that one sims. I'm talking hours.

I'm scared to try and work on another one...

well work on a diff one make small chnages like 3 min worth and save see if it works

I think I've heard of this glitch. Unless I'm dreaming, I heard some people on tumblr talking about their sims makeovers not saving. I'm sorry I don't know the solution

So wait this happened in your VANILLA game? 

No, it was not vanilla, the sim I chose to makeover was from when I went into the game vanilla...when I saw the game was running fine, then I added my mods and then I went in to make her over. I'm not sure she saved at all. Good thing is, I can probably make her over because believe it or not, I truly did not do a whole lot to her.

I'm waiting on her to have her baby, but if it's something going on in others games...it just may not be something I can fix that easily.

Oh well...life goes on. If you hear of anyone else having this problem, please let us know.

why dont you wait to see what happens when she has her baby. it doesnt sound like you have gotten far yet

Hmmmm I have heard on tumblr that people are having problems with their simbin. I'm not sure what's causing it so it might be a glitch in EA's patch. Hopefully it gets fixed. I think that maybe the simbin is glitching to think that the sims are mermaids since you can't save them.

I don't think I was meant to be able to make her over. I placed another sim in her home and clicked to see if the option to edit in CAS came up and it did with no problem, however, when I clicked her it did not and her option to streak was not available. So, I'm wondering if once she has the baby she will accept her makeover and if not, I truly did not change too much that I can't redo her. I mean, that is how I basically make my sims anyway...I use a vanilla Ea sim as my base.

I went in to make a sim, just to make sure that CAS wasn't the glitch itself and I had no problem after working on 2 sims. Everything saved just fine. I do believe it was using mastercontroller and trying to do her makeover just didn't work.
