What did you all think?

Look at 2:12 Is that what I think it is? OMG     Just look at these pictures.

The Sims 4 has kind of turned me off with the main fact we won't have free color options anymore. Build Mode has interested me the most....I won't get into all the things I don't like about the way sims look but yeah we get to do all this cool stuff but then I remember we won't be able to change the colors and patterns to whatever we please and I just sigh.

What?!?! We can't change the color on things...like clothes and patterns? Not good. Hopefully, a modder will be able to quickly jump in and fix this. Wonder why? Just lazy or just not able to interlope it into the actual gameplay?

I'm withholding my opinion until I see the finished product. However, build looks pretty cool so far. It will be interesting to see what the lot builders can do with 3 different wall heights as well as the drag and drop. Love the roof tool also.

Yup, no CASTool which has been completely confirmed. That means no picking custom colors for hair, eyes, skin, clothing, furniture and objects..... It'll be like TS2 days when we needed a recolour for everything. That just made me sooooooo mad that I don't think I want it anymore. Also, there are no pools in the basegame either lol. Random but a lot of people noticed that. So yeah...for all the cool options they're giving us now, they're also taking away everything that made TS3 awesome. I keep thinking of open world play where you have a limited color scheme on all the houses and furniture and I just shudder.

I agree with you on the no CASt I keep seeing sims walking around in the same outfits with no way to personalize it. Than I thought. Sims 2 had body shop, Sims 3 had CAP. So I think that sims 4 will or should have a separate program that allows you to change colors of items. At least I hope. They said that they took it out because of emotions being connected to the colors of the environment, clothing and whatever else. They also said that the tool slowed down loading a lot and they wanted a faster smother running game. I checked twitter today there was a post saying there would be curved stairs and pools. It was removed. Also said it maybe news at E3.

I can understand that they want a better running game. Sims 3 is extremely flawed and I think I'm being nice about that. I would rather have a game that I can play right now on my dinosaur of a computer than another game that I repeatedly have to "fix".
I am disappointed that CASt will not be included. I really liked styling the clothes, but maybe it will come with a later ep or sp.
By the way, was that a trolley car in the video?

Yea here's to fingers crossed they will add it at some point. Yes that is a trolley I love it. I just hope it doesn't replace cars.
