House also has a downstairs bedroom off of the living room area and small guest bathroom. The Sims are not in the download, they are testing the house for me. It also has a raised foundation and nice size front porch.
I am a little disappointed because I couldn't get the basement to work out.

Still haven't decided if I'm going to upload it yet...

I almost beat you to it, was working on my first house this weekend, but my game keeps on crashing on me Still hope to finish it early this week, but might need to re-install the game again

There are some awesome lot builders in the community, but with your first house you don't need to reach the same level of those builders !
And then there is taste, if you say you like more 'simple' homes, I'm 100% sure there are lot of Simmers out there who like that too. Also when you build or change a town, not all houses are fancy and super top big glamourous !!

About me saying I like it; I always try to be honest and when I say I like your house, I really DO like it !!
Oh no, made an error... I don't like your house.... I LOVE IT !!
I will dispute everyone, who doesn't like or love your house !!
It's lovely, great, awesome, gorgeous, well made and you can def see you put time and thought into it !!

And you not only have great talent as a Sim creator, but also as a lot creator !!
