I really like this picture, your model looks stunning and I love the look on her face. I also love the phantom in the mirror. The only thing is that I wish the picture had been a little closer to your model so that her face was more the focus, and not her backside. Overall, great job!

It took me a while to notice the monster in the background, and it scared the crap outta me! lol I really love this picture, and don't really know why. The thing that really bugs me, though, is that the picture seems a bit sparse…maybe putting more props would made it look a bit better. Well done!

I never would have thought about doing that scene...interesting. And he does say 'Burke' them. lol I like this picture, but I wish your model had been looking at the other guy, so that you know they're talking. Also, I think it would have looked a bit better if you had cropped out more of the fireplace. I love the touch of the shovel in the background. ;) Good job.

I like your picture, but I wish I could have seen your model's face. I think it would have been better if you had posted a full-sized version of it, so we could have seen more detail. Also, I wish you had posted a picture from the scene you were representing, because although the picture you gave is an iconic one, it can be found pretty much anywhere. It seems you really didn't try on this one. Good job, anyway.

This was an interesting scene that was picked, and was represented quite well. The thing that bugs me is that you don't know who the model is. It would have been nice if she was facing (at least slightly) toward the camera so that we could see that she's supposed to be the main focus. Also, the effect you put over the picture, which is actually sepia and not black and white (I didn't dock points for that, though) obscures a lot of the detail. Good job, though.

I decided to use time as my theme in my pic and poem. He sitting around wasting time basically. The clocks and webs represent the time he lost commiting this sin. The poem depicts this and how he not only physically being inactive, but mentally as well.

Wow Westie, I dont understand where this is coming from...I dont respond to childish and inappropriate posts like this one, but I think this one almost deserves it. Instead of babbling on like about your "talents" and how they are overshadowed and unappreciated, you could have easily not showed your bitchy (excuse language Cece/Kash/everyone) side and just dropped out.

You might be use to getting your ass kissed, literally. This isn't a competition where points are awarded freely. Akasha and Pheobe judge fairly and based on how they feel a contestants work is executed on the given assignment. Creativity and thinking out the box is a must for this competition and if you can't summon it, then there are people who will gladly give you ideas, myself included...but it's up to you on how you're going to deliver it. Akasha never asked for perfection, she asks that you push yourself to deliver a non-edited photo.

We all work hard, we all give it 100%, and the judges in this competition judge fairly and honestly. Were you expecting to get the highest score every time? Would it have been better if the judges just gave you 10/10 whether you deserved it or not? Like you said these are about expressing yourself creatively and pushing those boundaries, not being coddled to or having your hand held. I just don't know why that post was at all necessary, it really hurt my feelings, even if it wasn't directed at me. I agree with Chi 100% though. Why not just say I'm dropping out. Chi has helped me out a couple times in this comp and she would have gladly helped you. I wanted to drop out for the same assignment you are complaining about, because at the time I was dealing with losing my friend and I just felt really down. I also had no clue what to do for my movie. Did I give up? No! I made it work!

This assignment, I got sloth! Sloth! To be inactive. Very hard and I'm still not sure if I did good enough, but damn if I wasn't working on it all day! It pisses me off you have greed and your dropping out for dumbest reason. I would LOVED having greed!Anyway, I'm having hard time getting into Kawaii now, but they have to eliminate me! I almost got eliminate from it actually, but did I cry about it? No! With bad pic and entry, I use what judges say and build on it. I might get eliminated from here, but thats how the ball rolls. It's not that serious.

I thought a lot things you could of did with the mummy. It can be gothic! Would of took some time and paitence, but it could of been done. Sloth is sure hard to make a good pic out of for a sin! I know that much! I'm doing pics that I would never dreamed of doing with sims, because of this comp. This is whole new thing for me and I'm learning as I go. Wow, that has got to be the rudest ''I'm dropping'' post I have ever seen.
Even when I dropped from Dolphinz comp because I thought the scoring was biased, I NEVER belittled her or the compeition, its judges or the other contestants in my farewell post.
I thought your image was rightly scored and ranked compared to the other people here, and I'm not even trying to toot my own horn. Every single person in this comp is extremely talented, creative and I know I put HOURS into a single entry for this comp.....that last one took my half a day.

Your placing's in Model Fever (I believe thats the comp you're in) has gotten to your head. Those regular modeling comps are fairly easy to get high scores in, shit I've won three of them rofl, the judges score high, most of them try to be nice, and alot of the people competing are totally new to picture taking, editing and modeling all together.

This was insulting not only to Akasha, Pheobe and Toblie, but also to everyone who is doing well in this comp.

In all honesty when you come first in a Berry Sweet comp, then you can come back and continue to talk down to me, because that is THE hardest comp around, and I managed to get second, most people don't even get picked to compete..........and I got picked again for the cycle starting now.

The people here are some of the best at this modeling stuff and I'm glad to be competing against them, it's testing my abilities to the limit, I am scared for every round of scoring because of the calibre of the entries.

Sorry for the outburst but I hate people who go around thinking that their shit stinks less that everyone elses.

Ok so I stroll over to take a peek at the contest and see what is going on, what's been posted, how extreme (yikes on seren!!! Wow!! and all other kinds of Wow's!!) Can't let the babies view this competition for sure, still and yet...as tasteful as you could!!

On a side note.. what in the heck is going on here!! Westie...hon if you are having trouble with an assignment or the judging, oh well...it's all a part of the game. I have been dumped 1st in a competition that I was sure was going to bring all kinds of 'oh's and ah's'....and though I got compliments, the judge felt like I just wasn't up to par with the other contestants.

I graciously bowed out, lurked, praised and enjoyed the rest of the competition. In other words...I left with my dignity and my pride even if a little embarrassed at first. I got over it!

However...you decide to blast the contest host and all those involved. That is entirely unacceptable behavior.

I will send you a pm regarding this but in the mean time...if you have something that irks you or you question regarding anything on this site, I suggest using the 'pm' option, and even so that is not grounds to tell people to kiss your ass...it's for a more private conversation.

I don't believe anyone hates you, but nobody is going to throw hugs and kisses your way with this kind of attitude.

I do believe a sincere apology is due to both the host, and the contestants. If you choose to leave the contest, it's on you. But a quieter exit would have been more appropriate don't you think?

Oh sad to see ya go Westie. Just wish you had left in a more dignified manner. This comp is for fun and i think it does push you to create. Sometime it's hit and miss in these things. One bad score shouldn't get you down.
Competition holders don't have to take the time to make these and score and think of assignments just to be blasted by a contestant cuz they aren't having fun or had one bad score. Step up take positive criticism (we are all friends here) and make some fun shots.
For my part i really enjoy this comp.
Maybe a little nicer next time. But i'd reconsider leaving if i was you i am sure you will find your niche and have fun, if you let it happen.

Westie, I'm actually very insulted. I work very hard on each of my pictures. I time each of my pictures from start to finish. Moxxi's pic clocked in at just a little over 11 hours. That's pretty normal I've had as little as 5 hours all the way up to 18 for ONE picture. My pics and ideas do not always come easily to me and sometimes I will do re-shoots, totally trashing a set and extras and starting over.

We are up against some of the hardest competitors in the Simming world in this comp. When I see PistolKitten joining a comp I'm in I have two reactions, my first is Yay my friend has joined then my second is Oh holy feck, it's PK, I have NO chance now. JKA was just beaten for Miss Simivers by only one point if I recall correctly. Whilst RD is new to me, I could see right away that she puts care and thought into her pics. I just won Hitched and that was a highly competitive contest that started in APRIL and just now ended.

I find comps that do not allow editing to be so much more difficult then just shooting in a white room then editing in whatever you want and splicing body parts. Actually setting the scene ingame and making it work with the sim's limitations is very HARD.

Personally, I thought you were doing great, and that's part of my surprise with your response. I really enjoyed your pictures..I admit a couple of times I thought you were underscored but I also thought that about JKA's pic..but I am not the judge and I do not run the comp and I figure they have been around longer then I have and know what they are looking for.

having to guess what the judge's idea of greet or rage or sloth is, is part of the fun and challenge. When I post a pic I never know how it will go over. But I know that no matter I have done the very best I could do and I take pleasure in that.

Hehe think how I feel, I just clocked over 11 hours for my Moxxi pic that's NOT including the peom. I post it and am pretty happy with it and then it gets over shadowed by you having a fit. Hehe, that's not on.

Look, you, I know you're young. I'm not mad with you and I for sure do not hate you. You're only human and I can see you are disappointed in your score. Fair enough, you worked hard. With age, you'll learn how to handle things like this with more grace, I have no doubt. It's just unfortunate that you reacted so harshly to people who were/are more then willing to support you and help you along. As far as I am concerned I forgive your outburst...these things do happen to the best of us. With my miscarriages I've been a hormonal mess and I have cried all over the Hitched comp like a little baby and they still love me, so I am sure you'll still be welcome round here...( just give them a couple of days)

God. I'm sorry to see you go but that's no way to say goodbye. You could have said it in a non rude way but I guess that didn't really appeal to you, did it? When you join a competition you should know that the judges may not always agree with you and praise you for something that wasn't great, you should be able to put up with it. If I did disagree with a judge I wouldn't be so inconsiderate and rude. You could have spent more time on your picture, am I right that you were the first to give in your picture? You had a number of days that you could have come up with a more creative idea. Not only did you insult me, I'm sure you insulted Akasha as well.

I know it's not my place, but I am begging you to think back to what you went through at 13 and put your kid gloves on and try to put our own pride aside ( mine included) and be gentle with her. I know it's a big ask.
